Introducing the LoN Fire Condemn Crusader!
After theorycrafting for a while with many builds, this is the one that MIGHT outperform Charge barbs in the upcoming XP group meta.
Coming patch 2.6.4, the LoN set bonus is increased to 750%, meaning a maximum of 9750% damage bonus. With the help of additional damage multipliers such as the CoE, this build more than TRIPLES the damage of the standard Akkhan Condemn build. With Area damage, Condemn will shred trash mobs in high density maps in ways the Rat necro never could!
This build will only perform well in groups, and here's the group comp that comes to mind:
- 2x Condemn Crusaders (damage dealers)
-Globe and utility barb (whirlwinding, spawning and picking up health globes for the Crusaders to help maintain Wrath, and granting movement speed and damage reduction for the group)
-Pull monk (grouping enemies in range for the Condemn while running through) Monk should be a little ahead of the Crusaders, so enemies are grouped up in time.
Thoughts for improvement:
A Globe Necro could be an alternative to barb, where the Brittle Touch rune from Corpse Lance gives a higher critt chance and combines well with the Laws of Valor - Critical rune. A downside to this might be that it's harder to pull mobs when they're frozen, and the lack of speed buffs to the group.
Another idea is swapping the fire rune for Shattering Explosion, giving a larger Condemn radius.
All in all, this is all theorycrafting and needs proper testing. Please leave a comment with suggestions for improvement. Can't wait to see if the LoN set finally has a chance for a place in the Meta!^_^

Hey, i made a similar build and also tried on my nonseasonal to see if its gonna work solo right when i saw the ptr, damage was really great even on %100 and it will be great with %750 but only problem is without akarat i was dying by oneshot in t13 and wasnt fun to watch that. Idk actually in team this might be a great trashkiller but needs some survivability, like you have to give up on hexing pants for parthan defenders etc. I'd say go for it next season. You can balance things out better if you actually play it and give up on some damage bonus by experience.
Hi! Yea thoughness, resource and cooldown was an issue in solo, but with the right support group I think that won't be an issue this will be interesting!
Might be possible to achieve 100% uptime on Akkhans with a Obsidian ring in cube perhaps? Damage throughout from akkhans + Survivability might be worth the reduction from the loss of CoE? Literally just spit-balling though so would need testing.
Yea, good thing this build don't need 100% uptime to deal damage, but I will test that!
znecro can select the 12 second land so it won't freeze mobs. But maybe he dies. I think it will provide much more globes for the group.
