Utilizing the Unhallowed Essence set with the Spines of Seething Hatred quiver and the Bastions of Will, this build/gear combo can really push Chakram damage up the chart. You can effectively run any Chakram skill with this setup, however the physical damage works really well. The UE set counts the Chakrams as a generator, thus allowing it to benefit from the +% damage for each point of discipline you have. Combine that with the damage increase for Bastions Will and you can easily crit for 200M+ with your chakrams, and even higher if you elect to go with cold. Utilizing Pain Enhancer with the widespread effect of the physical chakram allows for maximum efficiency for damage. The increased attack speed is actually a welcome bonus for this build since you are not spending hatred that often by keeping your multishot properly balanced with your chakram firing. One VERY important note is that you can roll Max Discipline on your Quiver/Bow/Chest piece. Prioritize this stat above most others.

Paragon is the same, with the exception of offense. If you have high Crit Chance, then perhaps you may invest into IAS as an added benefit to unleash more chakrams.
Core: Movement speed > Primary
Offense: Crit Dmg > CDR > Crit Ch > IAS (CDR somewhat important for your companion, although not entirely necessary.)
Def: Res > Armor > Life > Life Regen
Utility: Area Dmg > LoH > RCR
Build Guide
I am assuming you use the quiver that turns chakram into a generator?
Really fun build
For grifts, yes, but for t6, it's not needed.
Im really enjoying this build, hitting up to 900 million with my chakrams and between 400-700 million with multishot..
Is also Season only, for anyone interested.
I'm using this build as fire and with a windforce / and strongarm braces, see http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/DrDoomGod-2999/hero/3796828.
I'm searching for a good hellfire but the rest seems ok... Any opinions about windforce/sa and fire on this build?
You should use Ballistics if your going fire. It gains the effect from UE.
I run this build but didn't see this guide prior to running it, and run a
somewhat different varient. It's really good, however I strongly
disagree with your Pain Enhancer gem. It seems really useless, and
counter intuitive to wanting mobs close to you when so much of your
damage comes from staying away from the mobs. I run (solo) Bane of the
Trapped (as well as the Chilled passive) and replace Marked for Death
with Sentry + polar station and see a substantial increase from this
build, or one using Goguk or Taeguk. I also replaced Archery with Single
Out, which really helps melt those straggler elites and rift guardians,
pulling my crit chance against those mobs around 85%. Just for raw
numbers, without my wolf buff, I see chakram hitting anywhere from 500m -
750m and multishot hitting anywhere from 750m to 1.2 bil.
I have been running with some friends and I have attempted your build and enjoyed it, I have been informed " your DPS has become absurdly high". fun and effective build. thank you!
Honestly, I never thought I could like a DH build that doesn't use Sentries. This build, however, I absolutely love. I'm already 1-hit killing elites on T4. Still building this DH up in S3 but she's lookin' good... http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/pickupcash-1328/hero/61393764
You are using the full Unhallowed Essence set, and the 6 set bonus gives a 15% damage buff FOR EACH POINT OF DISCIPLINE on generators (your Chakrams, if you have Spines of Seething Hatred) and on your Multishot. That's why you want Preparation with Invigoration (max Discipline increase) and you want to roll Max Discipline on your Quiver/Bow/Chest piece. You can also roll Physical Damage on weapon, etc., which makes those Chakrams devastating. It's a fun play style. Trigger Marked for Death, fire off some multishots to spread the Death, use chakrams to generate Hatred and Discipline, keep your distance with Vault to keep the damage buff higher (from the UE 4 set bonus and Steady Aim), and repeat. I'm hitting a high enough DPS that I usually forget to trigger the wolf until I hit a GRift guardian.
I'm using a hellfire amulet. The passive that rolled on it is Archery. What would be a good 5th passive, since using double archery doesn't make sense? I've currently set it to Blood Vengeance.
Hello guys, nice build! But I found that hellrack plus cull of the weak works MUCH better!!! Please let me know what u think!!
not for this build. For this build the quiver is essential as it turns chakram into a generator that then benefits from discipline points percent multiplier of UE build
