GEAR
-Helmet: CARNEVIL
5 Fetishes shoot a very powerful poison dart. Note the dart these 5 fetishes shoot are poison damage, while the melee fetishes are physical.
-Shoulders: Pauldrons of the Skeleton King
Pauldrons of the Skeleton king for a second life at times, this isn't as needed with how tanky the LoN version of Carnevil is, but it's still very nice.
Alternative Option: Corruption
These shoulders are craftable and roll with 7 pick up radius standard.
-Amulet: Hellfire Amulet
Confidence Ritual will be your 5th passive on the hellfire amulet.
Alternative Option: Ess of Johan
Ess of Johan could out perform a Hellfire Amulet with how good Area Damage is in this patch. The tighter you group mobs, the more benefit you get from your area damage.
-Chest: Aquila Cuirass
50% damage reduction while above 90% primary resource, you really don't spend mana in this build and even when you do, you get it back quickly with Spined Dart, which means you have this damage reduction pretty much always.
-Bracers: Lakumbra's Ornament
6% damage reduction per stack of Soul Harvest.
-Gloves: Tasker and Theo's
50% more attack speed for your fetishes, you have 18 fetishes attacking in melee range so, no other gloves can compete for damage.
-Belt: The Witching Hour
7% more attack speed to reach a higher breakpoint with Carnevil, along with 50% more crit damage.
Alternative Options: String of Ears/Belt of Transcendence
String of Ears is an option if you decide you need more toughness.
Belt of Transcendence is only possible if you run Grave Injustice/Piranhado, I really would not recommend it, but it is an option if you want to open up another passive slot.
-Pants: Depth Diggers
We're running the poison dart that restores mana, so your own characters Poison Dart will benefit from this multiplier.
Alternative Options: Swampland Waders
Swampland Waders give 20% poison elemental damage, but this only affects the 5 fetishes shooting poison darts. It also stacks additively with the pet damage bonus from Mask of Jeram.
-Boots: Ice Climbers
Immunity to Freeze and Immobilize effects and damage reduction from cold make these the best solo boots imo.
Alternative Options: Illusory Boots
Illusory Boots are more than likely the best for group play, so you don't get body blocked while your group is looking for a place to set up and start DPS'ing.
-Rings: Legacy of Nightmares set(Litany of the Undaunted/The Wailing Host)
100% damage + 4% damage reduction per ancient item. It's more important that EVERY item is ancient than for the items to be well rolled.
-Weapon: The Dagger of Darts
This allows your darts to pierce, giving the build AoE clear. If you have an ancient Starmetal Kukri but you dont have an ancient DoD yet, run the SMK on your character and Cube the DoD.
-Offhand: Henri's Perquisition
This allows you to run through rifts without getting killed, so you can pick your spots and create density. I think this is the best off hand for solo play.
Alternative Options: Zunimassa String of Skulls/Thing of the Deep
Zunimassa String of Skulls is probably your best bet for group play because it rolls with 25% Fetish Army damage, it's your best damage option
Thing of the Deep is great if you decide to run Carnevil in Torment 10.
Kanai's Cube
Weapon: STARMETAL KUKRI
Permanent Slam Dance gives you and your pets damage and allows you to get higher breakpoints with Poison Dart.
Armor: Mask of Jeram
100% more pet damage is pretty self explanatory. You'll always give 100% damage with Jeram in the cube, so its preferable to cube Jeram over Carnevil.
Jewelry: Convention of Elements
You'll absolutely melt everything when this rotates to poison, also double dipping with this when it rotates to physical.
Legendary Gems
Bane of the Stricken
This is mostly for the Rift Guardian but you'll also get a lot of benefit against single target champions.
Bane of the Trapped
This build does not have a ton of ways to proc this, so you'll want to be within 15 yards as much as possible to proc it, also Languish will proc it with the slow.
Simplicity Strength
This buffs your own dart as well as the 5 fetishes shooting darts, you also get the majority of your healing and sustain from this gem.

If your using Depth digger doesn't it need to be the physical ruin for poison dart skill? That is the only one that generate resources.
Yes, Spined Dart, which it is.
Can I ask what may be a dumb question? If all of the skills are physical, why do you want your bracers to have poison damage instead of physical?
Then would not the pants with 20% poison damage be stronger? Or do depth diggers scale on fetishes damage?

Thanks for your giudes BTW, been following your zombie charger HT build last season and had a blast.
Now I have a question for mojos: you seem to really like Henri's Perquisition and the Thing of the Deep, but I really found myself having more fun/success in finishing stuff fast using Shukrani's Triumph with Severance on my spirit walk.
From what I've read it's mostly because of the drop in DPS. Don't you think that outside of solo GRs the permabonus to speed offsets the drop in damage?

After testing this build with all ancien gear except hellfire amulet I can tell this build is damn KiCK ASS!
way better than Zunimassa build,and can't compare to it,it's now my favourite build of WD.
i have almost complete 2 player Grift 65 with this build and my girlfriend was using is farming sorceress.
Im about 753 Paragon and my GF 687.

Fun build! I'm around paragon 760 and was able to eventually do a GR73 with it. Not exactly leaderboard material, but not that far off either. By swapping out a few items, you can transition this build to a popular build I see a lot on the leaderboard (haven't quite obtained those items yet).

My biggest challenges have been getting an ancient Witching Hour that rolls with int and getting a decent kitty cat. I rolled my crap stat on the belt to Int, but I probably should follow this guide and roll that back to poison dart damage. Kind of tough to give up 647 int though. Got three ancient Henri's, but they all have weird stats.
Anyway, I'm curious about the stat priority on the mojo. J_Macc has the priority as: CHC, AD, Int, Vit. His kitty cat has only Int and CHC, but he rerolled for fetish army damage. Huh?
One of my ancient kitty cats (Henri's) has good damage, Int, and CHD, but no natural AD, so according to the priority list, I should reroll one of the crap stats to AD. It makes sense, and I see that AD is very popular right now.
Unfortunately I got mana regen and Grasp of the Dead as the other stats, so in reality I just need to wait for a better drop or reforge I suppose. I did get another one with CHC, AD, and Int, but low numbers. It's not going to be easy to give up my Strings of Skulls (Zuni mojo) with 8% elite damage and 22% fetish army damage (maybe I shouldn't?).
EDIT: On a similar note, the #1 priority on the rings is AS, but on at least one of his rings J_Macc rolled for CHD instead? Is there a point where you'd pick CHD over attack speed?
Got a tip on this build if your paragon level isn't 1000+. Mine's at 780 or something and even after doing augments on everything, it was looking like CR74's were out of reach without some better gear (or a different build really). Just could not dish out damage fast enough. Tried five of them and it wasn't happening. More than that and it feels like fishing, which I'm not into.
Well, I went with the Pierce the Veil passive in place of Grave Injustice and got a CR74 on my second try after that. Could feel the increase in damage output, which seems to be important if you're not in the high paragon club.
I am having having trouble surviving with BoS gem. As soon as I put ES and get PoV passive instead of SA passive, my life is way easier.
With the setup described here I have about 80 mil toughness and 3.2 mil dmg and with my version I have 135 mil toughness and 3.7 mil dmg.
I am P1200ish. Should I try this setup as I get to about 2000?
How do you guys balance int and vitality paragon points in this build? (obviously P800+)?
