MOST COMMON ASKED QUESTION: "Why DEAD IRON belt?". Well, because our weapon *Blade of the tribes has following secondary: "WAR CRY and Threatning shout now CAUSE and Avalance and Earthquake". And Since Dead Iron roll's a secondary free stat with up to 200 % Avalanche damage, then why not use it?". We ran simulations in d3planner, and this IS the best choice.

since dots can't crit, why use bloodshed? Has anyone tryed swaping it with ground stomp?
For those of you who are having difficulty getting high enough CDR. You can replace battle rage with ground stomp and still be able to climb quite high in the grift but not as high. I am currently doing that because I was unable to get a set of rings with cdr (got str chc and chd on mine leaving me at 27.54 cdr). I am using everything else the same as shown and with the build like this I am able to use leap 3 times, then use generators till full, then boulder toss and repeat. I can go up to grift 75 doing that but it is not easy and i failed countless times before getting lucky. The build with the way i use it works fine on 70-72 for the most part but it gets harder after that. Anyway you can play it like that until you get better cdr or whatever (which seems unlikely to ever happen for me this season). You can check out my profile below if you wish

Why Battlerage: Bloodshed instead of Battlerage: Marauder's Rage??
Does Earthquake and avalanche proc Bloodshed?
Nope, I tried that already and doesnt work. perhaps you are doing it in a group or groups of mobs and if so try doing it in town. I have 204 fury which is more then you said was required, the cdr on my shoulders, and the largest diamond in the game in my helm plus more cdr on other things but I am not able to do that the way you claim is possible. I am at 34.74 cdr atm because swapped weapon dmg for cdr but I am still not able to just leap 3 times, toss boulder, and repeat. I am however able to leap 3 times, use ground stomp, then boulder toss, and repeat without much of a delay when im in town. Furthermore I can leap 3 times, use war cry, use boulder toss, leap 3 times again. use threat shout, boulder toss again, leap 3 times, use ground stomp, boulder toss again, and start over. The only one that has the delay is the last part but its a really short delay of a few ms and in a grift if you have not found a group of mobs to land in or a way to get hurt by at that point you must be unlucky. I just hold shift whenever I am tossing boulder to force him to throw but that is obvious. The only way I can think of that you could possibly do what you suggest is if you use leorics helm with 100% bonus to gem but even then I doubt its possible without mobs to help you get more fury (I just have no way to test it myself).
As far as I know Battle rage bloodshed does not proc on earthquake because it is damage over time but they may have changed things since I last looked into it (I doubt they did but it is possible) and I would think Marauder's Rage would be better for this build because of that. However, perhaps the op knows something I do not about it and that is why he chose that instead of Marauder's Rage.
Can this build push up to Grift90?

any tips what's wrong with my gear? can do comfortably on GR69..
Beyond that, can't just finish on time due to dying too fast...
You use wrong rune for war cry. Impunity is weak compared to veteran's warning. Also diamonds in gear ain't that good, better use rubies. Personally, I dislike using bloodshed rune, I find into the fray much better, especially if you fight elites and lot of whites in the same time.
Other problem I see with your build is that you forgot to spend paragons on max fury. You need fury to reset leap faster and to deal much more damage with your boulder toss.
hi.. after do the changes.. manage to clear up to GR71....
i'm having max fury at 180... how high more does it can go??
what should i do more to make it better?
Only thing you can do is roll better weapon, I was fortunate enough to make one myself using kanai's cube. Weapon can add up to 24 more fury, so good luck finding one.
many thanks for the tips... will keep trying..
Your Pants are a big problem. You really need that All resist on them, and damage on other items. The issue is that they rolled a resist as a minor roll, so you can't just reroll the amour. I had the same problem, and it took forever to finally get the pants with the AR. But it was so much easier to live once I got the all resist. So you should be making sure that your gear is rolled how OP explained, it's more important getting the right rolls then getting a lucky ancient.
You also always have to leap in first, it's the main thing keeping you alive. I always want the mobs around me stunned. But leaping first is the single most important thing, never start a fight without it off cooldown imho. Also get your rotation down pat. I also don't like your Battle Shout rune, try something else out. While I'm still trying to get a nice Blade of tribes. I've heard great things about getting Life per Fury rolled on it aswell. Also your crit chance and crit damage seem low to me. I'm sitting at a nice and healthy 40/400, but I'm also lacking cooldown reduction on one of my rings. Another thing I'm learning is how important aiming can be. A lot of the time I think my leap is bugged or laggy. It's just the fact that I'm not aiming just where I need to be. I blame the new fat cursor. Also I wiff on my boulder toss more often than I care to admit lol.
If anything the skill you can swap out is Battle Shout. But if you're stuck on 80 then it might be an issue with your gear/rotation.
Ground Stomp is almost a great skill in this build. I looked at the 800% added damage thought that with the 540% rune, and the belt that adds an Avalanche that it would be insane. The two issues are that it's a fire damage rune, so all that Physical Damage you rolled on gear is worthless. The other issue is that it stops whatever you're doing and forces you into a silly animation. Thus slowing down your real damage maker. Shouts don't stop you. If the belt also gave you an earthquake then it would be 100% better, but it's just barely lacking in my playtime using it. It kinda wiffs because is a small area, and doesn't drag in enemies. Almost great.
The main reason why you would swap it out for Battle Shout is if your gear is lacking cooldown reduction. This means you have a gap in time before you can leap again. Ground stomp will buy you time. The other great reason to run Ground Stomp is if you're trying to bring more team support. If you have really weak teammates, you will need another stun sometimes to save them. On any decent team you won't need it however. Battle Shout is not flashy, you never really see the benefit of it. However, it really just adds a ton of damage, hard to pass up. Even if it feels like a chore, all the best play it for a reason.
1. They really have short cooldowns, one is 10 seconds and the other is 30 seconds. These get shorter the better your gear is.
2. The point is to do nothing but spam leaps, which makes a ton of earthquakes. I Don't feel like you played this build for very long.
3. Battle Rage is a huge DPS boost, just because big number don't pop up, doesn't mean it's not adding tons of damage. Group Stomp is terrible, the damage is fire, and doesn't drag in mobs so it often wiffs. Plus you shouldn't have time to Ground Stomp anyways.
4. The Whole point is to waste all the fury, you don't care about it at all. With one click you get to keep leaping. That's why you run it. Also it gives you crazy damage burst if you can aim well.
5. The point of having EQ on the bar is to get the rune affect. Otherwise it would just be a naked EQ and not drag in mobs.
6. Animosity is very important for gain massive amounts of fury, in order to dump with BT. I will admit that you can replace this one passive. However this is just hurting yourself in the long run.
You sure have a terrible understanding of the build. This is a great starter build for fresh 70s. By spreading this misinformation you're just hurting the misinformed. That, or you're just a pointless troll.
You can Shout while Leaping, But always leap first for sure.
You can upgrade two handed maces in the cube. But make sure NOT to use mighty weapons.
I will agree that that will work most of the time but there will be times when it fails and you will end up waiting for a bit (not long but that is not the point). If the game only had maps that were straight with no turns or dead ends that would be enough but that simply isnt the case. Sure we could use the crappy Templar follower and have him using the skill that increases fury generation but I prefer my blinding sand enchantress and I am sure I am not the only one. Also even doing that I am unable to leap 3 times, use boulder toss, then leap again without delay. So I will need to use the war cry and shout to keep that up which i can do with my enchantress as well but then when i run into an elite or rg 1 or both of those attacks could be stuck on cooldown which will cost allot in dps (earthquake+avalanche at same time is powerful and probably shouldn't be wasted). Furthermore if you do it your way in multiplayer when you get in a party to run rifts with teammates using a speed build (sader, dh, wiz, etc.) you will be left behind and might not make it there in time to kill anything because of the lack of mobs from your teammates path of devastation. With my way I was actually able to surprise some of my friends because of how quickly my barb moves (they thought they could ditch me with there speed build lol). That being said perhaps you like taking a gentle stroll and viewing the scenery but for me that is boring as all sh!t and i just wanna kill something/everything. With the build the way i have it i can just about keep up with speed builds (I can pass non speed builds) so I get there before they kill the elites/rg and i actually feel like I am contributing instead of sitting with my fingers in my butt. On a side note now that I have said that there will be people picturing me with my thumb in my bum and that image will now be scarred in there brain for life because what was seen cannot be unseen.
Actually ground stomp has a physical rune that increases the area and drags in enemies which will help when you get a group of mobs that like to run. Ground stomp does no damage without fire rune but that is worthless as you said and that is why I use the physical rune that pulls mobs in or the cold rune that reduces cooldown. I have tried both runes and like both of them but prefer the one with cooldown reduction because that allows me to jump 3 times, stomp, toss boulder, and repeat without delay. Which in turn allows me to save my shout and cry that cause earthquake+avalanche for elites or rift guardians. I suggest you only use ground stomp if you do not have enough cdr to make the build posted above work, if you just prefer using ground stomp because its fun, or if you wanna speedfarm t10 with barb (I had said that in an earlier post as well so you must be talking about someone else when you mentioned a troll spreading misinformation). Battle rage is much better for dps which helps more on higher level grift pushing and basically everything else. Using ground stomp instead of battle rage to make up for my low cdr I am able to carry other players through grift lvl 60 easily and I got to grift 75 solo which was not easy. Perhaps some day I will get lucky and a perfect set of rings will drop for me so I can use battle rage if I want (doubt I will because I find it fun how it is) but till then I use the gear I got and ground stomp. Lastly the thing about leap is actually news to me and I think someone tried to say it earlier but didnt explain it well (they made it sound like leap did damage ether way but did more damage when you hit an enemy). This being said knowing that wouldnt have changed anything for me because I prefer to use leap as a way to move faster (barb is to slow otherwise lol).
CotA is Call of the Ancient yes? Why use it if that build dont use it????
Nobody has enough patience with this game anymore. Way too boring and look that furious charge barb build... SUCKS.
