Set is defined here using disintegrate. When you get light of grace; kanai the weaker of etched sigil and light of grace,

Recommend replacing disintegrate with Ray of Frost - Black Ice.
If Ray of Frost is used:
change black hole's rune to event horizon
change blizzard's rune to Lightning storm

If you prefer using disintegrate, primordial soul should be used to increase the damage of elemental exposure. Again, kanai the weaker of the two.


    • Etched Sigil - What makes this build possible. Etched sigil allows you to cast all of the great spells you want without having to do the tedious task of casting it. While it is a bit more random than I'd like, it does wonders to do an effective rotation.
      • Synergizes with convention of elements and elemental exposure

    • Hergbrash's Bindings are to be kanai'd if at all possible. The 65% cost reduction is great whether you use ray of frost or disintegrate. This turns either ability into an easily spammed attack.
      • Synergizes with Etched Sigil and Mantle of Channeling

  • Mantle of channeling increases your damage and also reduces damage taken, since you're going to be channeling either ray of frost or disintegrate 100% of the time, it easily pays off. 25% increased damage. (125% extra damage)
  • Deathwish stacks with mantle of channeling, adding another 35% damage. (125*1.35 = 168.75% extra damage)
  • Convention of elements takes advantage of the fact that your abilities are all of different elemental types. You are ALWAYS going to benefit from this. (200% extra damage) (506% extra damage)
  • Elemental exposure adds an additional 20% damage (40% if using primordial soul) (607~708% extra damage)
  • Tal Rasha's Set adds an additional 2000% damage (12140~14160% extra damage)

Go with your favorite here.

For defenses, I recommend hitting armor then resist all. Since wizards don't have much strength or dex, their armors are lacking so boosting that first is a good call.

Utility wise, area damage is a nice boon to already retarded damage.
