If you watched the video you already know, that there are THREE Jade setups that are widely used. They vary from EASY to HARD. I prefer to call them "Beginner", "Expert" and "Master" (PS: Confused Master and Expert definitions in video, forgive me this little blooper Master is supposed to be HARDER than Expert..) Listed here is an Expert setup, which i prefer to play with.
BEGINNER:
It's not a "weak" setup, it's just easy to play and it's good to start with this setup if you never played Jade.
1) Wormwood in cube.
2) Unity instead of COE. Double the toughness.
3) Belt of Transcendence
EXPERT:
This is harder to play, because you need to cast Locust Swarm manually, but gives 50% more Elite damage.
1) Furnace in cube.
2) Unity instead of COE. Double the toughness.
3) Belt of Transcendence
MASTER:
This is hardest way to play, but results in most DPS if you successfully harvest during Poison rotation.
1)Haunting Girdle instead of Belt of Transcendence (more damage via 2pc bonus, faster stricken stacking, but less toughness overall, and more problems with Rift Guardians, because NO MEAT SHIELDS). Belt of Transcendence is a huge survival boost.
2) Furnace in cube
3) Convention of the Elements instead of Unity
Other options:
Henry's Perquisition/Thing of the Deep instead Vile Hive. Less Damage, problems from losing Pestilence, but more damage mitigation across the rift if you can kill mobs fast.
Follower: Enchantress of Templar with CC and Ess of Johan
Eung-Jan-Do with Oculus Ring & Unity
or Thunderfury + Wyrdward+ Oculus Ring (if no Unity)
Gems in gear: Chest & Pants: TOPAZ, Helm: Diamond.

Build Guide
Hello everyone!
In patch 2.6.1 Jade finally got the necessary toughness AS WELL AS the important damage boost. Now GR100 is a reality for many players and not just the p3000 ones.
The video guide is VERY detailed so please watch it.
To cut it short: always try to maintain 10 SH stacks for DPS and damage reduction, group mobs with Piranhado, cast Locust Swarm once (Expert and Master setup),haunt, harvest them. Spam haunt to reduce SH cooldown, harvest. Repeat. ALWAYS chain-harvest during poison rotation!
1) Stack AS MUCH AREA DAMAGE AS POSSIBLE. CDR is not mandatory anymore, but still good if you can find a spot for it.
2) You need very specific mob type to be able to complete highest grift possible. Basically, you need a lot of small mobs to harvest over and over again + some fat mobs dying between them. Best mobs are zombies and skeletons/summoners + slow fat mobs like Golgors/Hulks/Unburied.
3) In 2.6.1 i usually run with Pestilence instead of Cloud of Insects simply because toughness became much better.
Thank you!

I used this guide as a reference for my current WD in the PTR.
I have all the above gear but I find myself using wormwood cubed, and Henri's Perquisiton (cat mojo) for insane survivability.
I play hardcore, so a few small adjustments and I cannot be killed... currently clearing GR 60+ with no issues at all.
I find myself heading down that road where my offense is lacking but my defense is over 90 million. So i'll tweak more numbers before the end of the PTR for some final pushes.
Thank you for your guides
What do you think of Uhkapian Serpent? I can't find why you're picking Thing of the Deep as an alternative off-hand for toughness.
As for TOTD, it's pretty useless, just have pickup radius and can help with healing, pucking up globes offscreen. + if you have HF ammy, you can use Swampland Attunement and be very tanky.
I will be updating the video guide soon btw! It's a little outdated and i really want to make a refreshed one.
With Creeping Death passive you only need to recast locust swarm after 5 soul harvests.
If you are running with COE, then nukes during poison roation will be much more powerful than during other elements. Or it might be a ROE issue indeed
The only thing you need to keep casting often is Haunt, cause it makes direct damage via 2pc set.
Thanks for the guild. I cannot seem to find Quetzcoatl no matter what. been trying forever. What can i use in my cube instead until i finally find it?
or just level up new WD to 29 lvl (Quetzalcoatl requirement) and spend blood shards on him.
It's not very clear how I should equip my follower, or who I should take.
Or Thunderfury + wyrdward + oculus ring (for setup without Unity)
Or Thunderfury + oculus + Unity.
Or Sultan of Blinding Sand + Oculus
Wrong belt and wrong offhand. Should be using Thing of the Deep for the pickup radius because your main damage isn't from Locust Swarm, it's from Haunt and Soul Harvest. Should be wearing the Haunting Girdle ALWAYS.
I've soloed into the '70's with mine and can easily manage mobs into the 80's, but just can't solo kill the Guardian at 80.
Use Wormwood in the cube and you never have to cast Locust Swarm at all. You just need the skill in your tree to apply the rune to it, nothing more. Keep spamming Haunt, freeze them with Horrify and nuke 'em with Soul Harvest.
I clear T13 Rifts in 4 minutes with ease.
Havn't really tried yet. Just pointing out the obvious. That's why so many people on this thread can't get past GR60's. The only thing carrying you there is your high powered gems that us solo players don't have. Do it my way you'll do even better.
Thing of the Deep is useful in Nephalem Rifts but it is pretty useless in GR's, go with Henri's for way better survivability.
I also think Furnace in cube and the Pestilence rune on Locust Swarm, rather than Vile Hive with Cloud of Insects on Locust Swarm is needed to push the higher GR's - essentially I believe 50% elite damage wins over 25% dmg reduction. Wormwood in cube is a huge damage loss over Furnace, if you play half-smart you won't run out of mana because you don't really need to cast Locust Swarm that often when you've got the Pestilence rune.
Haunting Girdle is much better when clearing density, however Belt of Transcendence does help tremendously with rift guardians. I'm not too sure which one is better overall but I prefer Haunting Girdle because I find the Fetishes from BoT make gathering mobs more difficult.
I find that Convention of Elements is a huge damage boost and if you play well you can usually survive without the Unity - CoE is a must have for pushing GR80+ I feel - however for those having trouble reaching GR80 Unity might be of great help, at least until they get higher gem levels and better stats on their items.
This is awesome. Thanks so much for the build and video! I am glad Jade is back to being its old awesome self.
One quick question with the unity ring. What are the stat order of importance? It will always roll elite damage and CHC. You want AD, CHD, and a socket. I think you only get 2, so in a perfect world, what stat would I roll off for a gem? It seems like they are all great.
Jade with 25 lvl gems should steamroll t10. With a few ancients or really good set pieces, it should steamroll t13. That is what, a GR60? Get a few more set pieces upgraded and an ancient weapon, you could steamroll 65-70. That means you have 100% upgrade chances for gems to rank 60. Inbube your crap ones, into gear you find. That should push you to the 80's. Paragon and gems make a huge difference when pushing. Upgrade your used gems first. Getting them to 70 is no longer hard. That is a massive boost. I am lucky and have a few rank 80's with paragon level 800. It is an old toon. I rock t13 and the only ancient I have is a weapon that does 2800 damage and has crap stats.
