This is an inarius generator build. As such most of the items are pretty mandatory. The flex spots are the jewelry. Based on what content you want to run you could run more or less dps items (unity/CoE/Endless walk set/ Briggs). Also the bracer is flexible if doing T13 or equivalent content, nemesis bracers are good and possibly strong arm bracers if using Ess or Briggs. Don't use Briggs if grouping with other necromancers as conflicting curses result in less pulling.

Legendary gems are flexible based on how much toughness you need for the content you are running. Mirinae is slower than it used to be but still pretty good here.

The passives focus on synergizing with skills and items used. The flex slot is blood is power if you don't want to worry about getting more uptime on Simulacrum. You could try and adjust the passive / rings to maximize mage uptime instead as an option.

Build Guide

This build plays up Grim Scythe as a generator focused build. It leverages Skeleton Mage - Singularity rune with Leger's Disdain's damage buff for it's damage cycle. Typically you want to group some foes and pop decrepify then Mage near the end of cold cycle on CoE for max damage during poison and physical cycles. When you get to an elite or champ pack, you want to pop Simulacrum prior to Skeleton Mage to get max buff on the mage as well. You can also use Bone Armor on cooldown to proc Krysbin's ring but I recommend saving it for elites or larger groups.

Grim Scythe and Skeleton Mage can both reach 150b+ damage which is sufficient for GR 75-80. The tricky bit in the build is managing toughness and recovery. You can slant gear rolls toward that over CDR/Area damage type stats if you want to try pushing higher with it. While not as strong as some of the other builds, this is meant to try and maximize the potential of necro generator builds. This build runs Grim Scythe over the other two generators due to the added damage multiplier of Leger's Disdain likely making Scythe the best damage option for generators. The other two get gimmicky nova chance items but the nova's are a bit lack luster and don't benefit from the nova damage buff weapon, which would also compete with Trags and Reliana's.
