Always see people say some items are so good should sell for 100 million+ on ah, rather than $250 on RMAH. I posted this on D3 trade forums for advice, but it was on page 10 in 15 minutes and will probably never be seen again.
Some similiar items mine the MF on the AH for 200mil, does the stuff that high even sell?
I'm a monk that's actually set up for cold resist right now, so it would be amazing, but seems ashame to waste all that str. If this sells for what it looks like it would I can put together a whole set of whatever resist I want anyways.
Anyways taking offers, or advice. If nothing else probably go up on RMAH Sunday for $250.
Should be a pretty good price. I cant quote an exact price but well over 15 million
anyways read you like cold resis. You probably have better boots but here is some i found
Thanks for the reply I do have better on my boots. I couldn't wear a pair without movement speed after having it, I'd go crazy. Also you should know that the main stat roll for dex is doubled on boots, so 92 is a very low roll. A perfectly rolled pair of boots has 300 dex, it's pretty easy to get 140-160 on your boots. A quick look on the ah shows me a better pair for 20k, although it has 1d11h and the next similar pairs are around 50k.
There is one similar chest on the ah as mine, it has no magic find and is up for 100mil bid, 200mil buyout. It has no cold resist or magic find. Keeping a close eye on it to see if it sells. If I AH my chest I'd invest in 2 50 str gems. There is pretty much nothing up that's 190 str/vit 70 all resist, 17 magic find.
with nephlem stacks and guaranteed rares magic find isn't as great as you are making it out to be look for similar chests without magic find and see where they stand to price yours. I'd rather have an extra 1k life/damage in an extra socket and physical resist instead of cold as a barbarian instead of 17% mf, also you can roll 200+ life regen/12% life on chests, either way its still a nice piece and best of luck with your sale.

I'd agree magic find isn't as big a deal, as I thought basically the same thing, but the fact is it is pretty much the most stable market on the AH imo. Found a ring with 17% magic find last night, undercut the current one's on the ah by 5 gold and it sold instantly. I cut back on my mf from 200 to 75 in order to progress and beat inferno and the different in drops is amazing, I got more stuff per pack with 200 mf before 1.03 than I do now after with 75.
I agree the cold resist isn't worth much, unless your a monk. The fact is if I put gems in it there is nothing on the ah with 190 str & vit and 70 all resist. There is a similar piece up for 100m bid 200m buyout w/out magic find. Sometime this morning someone also put up a better piece, 110 str, 250 vit, 3 empty sockets 80 all resist (but no MF and 30 less armor) for 100m starting bid. I'll be keeping eye on those to see if they get any action.
Just for the record I decided the chance at profitting off the rmah and getting my wife something nice for our anniversary this week was too good to pass up. This thing sold in less than an hour at $250. The added bonus is she can't complain about my gaming so much now either.

This is my goal, if I find an item good enough to sell on the AH im going to do it so I can get my girlfriend something nice for being so understanding of my hobby Though I am amazed this sold for 250, great chest but wow.
Any idea what legs with 150 vit, 82 str, 50 phys resist, 25% gold find, 19% magic find, and 2 sockets is worth?

Judging by similar stuff on ah if you put a couple of str gems in it, 2 - 5 mil. All resist is pretty much a must on the end game stuff that sells for a lot.
Also for the record I put 2 46 str gems in that chest before I sold it, well worth the mill I spent to make them to have it show up for 180 str/180vit 70 all resist searches.
I have some legs that could be the twin of your BP that you sold for $250. It's got everything your BP has but without the MF.
I put two strength gems in it and now I'm using it. Would have loved that BP to go with it but there's no way in hell I'm spending $250 for one item lol.

Thanks for the offer. Not doing anything with it until I see what those other 2 do unless a crazy offer comes along.
