considering that the internal testing has been going on for years and noone has beaten inferno yet, I would bet you it will take much longer then 4 weeks.
Is this real? If so, i just got so much more hyped for D3 than i was before Altough, i have a feeling that whoever did the internal testing might suck.
Realllllly? And entire building full of employees of the best video game company on the planet? I doubt they *all* suck =D
Considering its still 2 weeks before launch, that would mean you plan to beat inferno mode in 2 weeks after launch sounds like an interesting feat to behold. Not exactly sure if you plan to solo or play with others to beat it, but if it can be beaten in 2 weeks, blizzard will need to reconsider their replayablity options. It wouldn't be too fun now if there isn't a challenge to this mode.
I.... LOVE THIS... I also believe that theres no way you can beat the game in 2 weeks playing 5 hours a day. lol. also 5 hours a day is not "power gaming" i know people who have a full time job and still play 8 hours a night. and all day on weekends. People underestimate Blizzard. I have faith. "You will die... We promise." have fun rushing. ill be taking my time, and picking up all that gold ill need for repairs and gear.
Why wait over half a decade for a game only to try to beat it in two weeks?
Pure truth. I don't understand this "I must be first to beat it!" mentality. I have personally been waiting 9 years for this game. Ever since it was just a mere rumor floating around when i was playing D2 LoD. Why not get your moneys worth instead of rushing through and just having to grind for longer. I would be happy if it took me two months or possibly longer to defeat Inferno. And i will be playing alot more than most since i only have 1 class a day and 3 day weekends until this summer. (atleast 10 hours a day. everyday.)
Gonna race u bro, with my boi Kurzen, Witch doctor / Deamon Hunter wombo combo.
Thanks for the reminding me of that awesome game, man.. "happy feet... that ain't Falco... get yo ass whopped!" good times, great memories, too bad there wasn't a tournament scene where I live...

bragging rights. but the problem is Bragging has a short lifespan as a source of enjoyment while people still enjoying the game will continue to do so for months.

Possibly. I mean they chose a couple of graphic designers who obviously don't have time to be full time testers for the inferno is really hard video @ Blizzcon. If that's their cream of the "believe us" crop, well let's just say I hope 2x is enough.

no that's just borderline obsessed...i've never met someone who wasn't a fat, neckbeared lunatic that spent all possible time outside of work playing games only...I never stated that power gaming was the peak of time anyone could spend on a game. Talk to 10 people at your work place (at random, not hand-picked) and find out if they would think the term power gamer would apply to someone who plays at least 5 hours a day.
I hope there isn't a legitimate way to beat the game in 2 weeks even for the power gamers.... but I'm afraid that is false hope XD.
I'm likely just going to be playing on hardcore for the rush of it with some friends. While we'll likely be moving through content a good pace, I just really hope its not too easy!
you are not gonna beat inferno within 2 weeks without some sort of exploit.
have fun rushing through the game as fast as possible.
most other people will be taking their time enjoying the experience.
First off, not claiming I'll be able to beat Inferno in 2 weeks, but, different people play for different reasons. Some of us play for the challenge involved. I don't understand why people play games for pretty graphics and storyline, but they do. In the end it doesn't really matter, and I'll be getting plenty of enjoyment out of the game seeing how much I can push myself.

All you people talk like Hell was easy to beat when D2 originally came out.....
Most people cannot beat hell in d2 without considerable time, help (from friends), or twinking....
Random trash player being cocky. /thread
