That's a good point... why does each tab have the "unspent points" directly under it?
Nice catch, actually never payed attention to it. Though I think it would be really strange if the system "forced" you to spend all points in every category. It should be possible to go complete glass canon as well as complete tank, omitting either offense or defense stats. But yeah, the layout is... "strange". Wonder if anyone who was at Gamescom and played RoS can shed light on this?
The screenshot, also shows "Total Core Points: 10" what does that mean?
I guess that's just a feature and confirms that you don't have to spend the same amount of points on every tab, but instead you can put all points in defense, or offense, or whatever. It's kinda like the summary in some game's skill trees (e.g., WoW), showing you how many points you spent on one of these tabs/pages.
If you have 100 unspent paragon points, it may very well show 100 in that section on every tab. Just because it's on the tab doesn't mean it HAS to be tab-specific, after all. It may have been the only place they could fit that in that was aesthetically-decent.
