Red alert 2 was fine. Red alert 3 lost it and was pure horrid crap. they even Kind of was able to take care of the third C&C game.. but this last one... tibirum twilight? its not even a C&C game.
I remember playing C&C2 with my buddy on his playstation. We would make incredibly elaborate mazes with the barbed wire fence and throw in the odd tesla coil such that you could run past it with just barely enough time before it fully charged. Hehe it took hours and considering we both knew perfectly well how to solve the maze (since we made it together all afternoon) we didn't spend much time with it once we'd finished building it.

Op is right, but EA wrecks they may not be blizz but they sell games every year for lots of money and won't stop, they don't need good customer service and that sucks. Blizz isn't the worlds greatest either...10 years for a game, then releasing "live" beta but no one gets keys, and no definite release date. All companies are the same.
Again with the "I'm a blizzard fan and so I'm entitled to a god damn beta key." You seem to forget that you did not pay for beta. Beta is not associated with preorders and blizzard is in no way obligated to give ANYONE a key. The fact that they did not send out public keys when they went "live" is irrelevant because again... YOU DID NOT PAY. Blizzard can do wtf they want without you having a single right to complain until you have actually paid for the merchandise.
Where did you get the idea that i said i was entitled to a beta key. I simply stated that all companies have their faults, go take your real life issues somewhere else where somebody cares.
I am with OP.
It is a mistake they have made by not posting a time zone. They admit the mistake but instead of fixing the problem, they are basically saying tough sh*t...deal with it...That seems like a poor reply/solution to a customer
complaint...
It looks deceiving/underhanded/unethical to get sales by promising a good/service on one part of the website but then unpromising the same good/service in another part of the website (terms of service).
If they could not issue a beta key then they should have at least tried to do appease the unhappy customer.
Not ask a teasing question in the middle of the query like “Is there anything else I can help you with today?”…that would wind me up...

To restate my point in other words... you bitched about something you had no right to bitch about. Quite honestly, if blizzard decided to delay diablo 3 another 10 years its their perogative to do so. Most fans would become irate with blizzard yes (and those like me would probably stop following the game)... but its their right to do so.
I understand them, and you, but as the dude said, usually if they can do anything at all they usually will. I myself have worked with customer service for 3 years, and frankly, people like you piss me the fuck off. "So you want bad PR?", what normal person says a thing like that? Threatening with whatever and acting stiff won't get you anything. I applaud that guy for sticking with you for so long, I'd have closed the chat long ago if there was nothing else to do.
All in all it was an unfortunate miss in the ad, something that is most definitely stated somewhere in the fine print of your reciept/contract.
A question arose while I wrote all this:
Will everything you do in the beta be saved up for when the game is actually released, or will the servers be reset (as they should! I mean, it's a beta...)?

They killed bullfrog, rainbow arts, bitmap brothers.. some of the best game companies ever.
Dead because of EA.
Bullfrog...
So, EA is the company that murdered Bullfrog?
Yea, fuck EA. Never buying from them again. Dirty whores.
Yep, *sadface*
* Bullfrog Productions in Surrey, England, founded in 1987, acquired in 1995, merged with EA UK and effectively closed in 2001.
Maxis as well (the original sim city guys), R.I.P.
* Maxis in Walnut Creek, California, founded in 1987, acquired in June 1997, folded into Redwood Shores in 2004

not stated anywhere in the receipt, sorry bud, They fucked this up huge, the only way they save themselves is in the ToS where they pretty much say "even though you buy our products/service, we are not obligated to give you the product/service, singing this agrees to this statement".
Normal? what is normal? sweet your subjective opinion (ps more people agree with me than disagree so if this is an issue of normality you're on the wrong side of the fence) it is terrible PR. It's a fact that what they're doing to people, is going to result to bad PR.
Cool story bro? I worked in hospitality services where I get to deal with people who will cuss you the fuck out for fucking up there shit. Not customer service over the phone, not customer service over the internet, and trust me, in person when someone wants to be an asshole, they are the TRUE assholes because they're ballsy enough to do it in person, they dont hide behind the phone or the computer. Even though they are the true assholes, at the end of the day if you want repeat business you live by the saying 'the customer is always right'. I was right, they knew I was right, and couldnt fix the problem, sounds like shit service to me.
Sounds like they dont give a fuck about how the customer feels, sounds like that to a lot of people.

"...We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; for he to-day that sheds his blood with me
shall be my brother..."
further, please show where I threatened him? I told him this is going to result in bad PR (which it did), then I asked for their legal departments contact info since he can longer help me, and clearly it is now a legal issue since I was denied a service that I payed for, which in 'the normal world' would result in a refund, or some other deal/offer. In the world of video games according to sony and EA that means nothing, because even though you buy their products they are not obligated to give you the product/service because of the ToS. Which is complete bullshit.

I'm the assistant manager of a store, and when somebody like that comes in, it usually ticks me off too. That being said, not because they are wrong, customers are never, ever wrong, but simply because it's annoying to deal with it.
The absolutely minimum the guy should of done was escalate the situation or give him a number to somebody that he could talk to about either getting it fixed or with the knowledge of why he was declined the key.
And on a side note, I agree, Beta servers should be wiped a day or two before release. (If it were me, I'd give Beta testers a day on the retail for free just for testing my game out, a little bit of an edge for helping me with my game. Then again, I work retail, not game systems, so whatever. Lol.)
Ha. Bagstone.

I was asked that once, I told the lady "Yea, tell me why you guys like to fuck me in the ass?"
She had the audacity, after loosing my medical records, to be upset with me.
Bitch.
(Not the same thing, but it just reminded me of that.)
