I've beaten the game, and can still clear A3 and A4, I just die a lot
I have no idea how I'm going to get better gear. I've farmed A2 for over a month and only made about 50m total, which I've used to get the items I have. I thought I could FINALLY start to farm A3, but I still can't do it well. Here are my stats with just Impunity:
I just don't see how I can upgrade anything. For example, my gloves need all res, but they already have really good stats. To upgrade those would be like 30m minimum. Or my legs / chest. Both are pretty meh, but a solid upgrade would be 20m +
Am I doomed to just farm A2 using quake / insanity to kill elites in 4s and kill trash mobs with WW?
no form of life steal, loh, no revenge you have no way to get life back other than health globes if your gonna do this might as well go 2hander wotb ignore pain, and earthquake. Build looks terrible call of ancients eq, and wotb.
your focusing way to much on defense, way over kill on your hp and your dps is not that great.
complaining about dying and have no way to gain life lol
I use impunity, 30% damage buff wahtever it is, provocation, eq with the first rune, maniac / sidearm, insanity, nerves of steel, tough as nails, and zerk rage
Edit: I just realized your entire post was nothing but an attack on me. Are you actually stupid enough to think I managed to beat the game and have no clue how to make a build? Classic
You have way too much defensive stats. Barb skills (especially the ones you're using) scales much much better with damage as opposed to survivability, and therefore you need to aim to build your character around mowing down elites within a certain timeframe. This is what makes efficient farming.
I suggest you start stacking crit and forego some of your HP/resists. I spent around 50M and is sitting at 47K damage, 67K HP, 700 physical/fire resist, and 500 other resists. To avoid dying, NEVER engage elites without WOTB/Ignore Pain up.
Eh, I just died to pretty much everything in A2. Walk into an elite pack with both buffs up, pop Wrath, try to sprint and WW around and I run out of fury and have to auto attack and just die because I have so little life, defense, and no revenge

You shouldn't be struggling so much with the stats you have. I suggest try a more orthodox cookie-cutter build (frenzy/revenge/leap/IP with lifesteal/WOTB/warcry). Leap in -> pop WOTB as soon as you can -> pop Ignore Pain if you dip below 50% HP, elites should be dead within 15 seconds. Of course some elites will still give you some trouble (fleeing mobs/shielding) but you can run around and wait for your IP before engaging again.

Your resists are way to low (for act 3 at least), 30% crit is not enough for an efficient sprint/WW build, you need to build up tornados before you use WW, i only use WW for healing and running through packs or to dump fury when there are many mobs on screen, keep slaughter rune, its easier then using thrive on chaos.
Its very expensive to make an effective WW barb, at least if you don't want to spend 5 minutes killing a mob, most of my gear cost 20-40 million per piece, thats without including weapons, get your crit chance up to at least 38-40 in my opinion, for now you should forget that the WW button exists, you don't have enough to keep it up, unless you face a lot of mobs.
Suggestions:
- Get a belt with life leech, you deal A LOT of damage when using WoTB+ slaughter, life leech will make your life a lot easier when using WoTB.
- Get your crit chance up to 35-40%, i strongly suggest 40% if you can get it, gloves is the best source for crit chance.
- Take some time in act 1 to practice the build, tornado placement takes some practice, the goal is to kite the pack into your tornados.
Anyways.... don't give up, it just takes a lot of practice if you don't have the gear to back up the build, i went over to this build when i had a lot of gear and money to spend on weapons.
I suggest you check out some videos and see how others play sprint barbs, kiting is the key when you are undergeared.
* Swapping my main hand to an axe/mace brings me to 45% crit
* Most of my gear sucks
* I can kill elites relatively easily unless they're arcane or BOTH molten / plagued or I don't use Wrath on disabler packs
*The spec actually makes me want to play the game
So I need some advice:
1) Obviously I need to upgrade the main hand asap. What stats should I look for? Keep in mind I have 1.5m ...
2) When should I upgrade my off hand?
3) Is the only other place I can get LoH from a Skull Grasp + MH?
4) Which armor pieces should I upgrade first, and how much will it cost me?
5) What's the most efficient way to farm given my current skill setup? (Preferably A3)
6) Why do high end barbs use Thrive on Chaos versus Slaugther if they're only using it for elite packs and they can easily blow them up with Slaughter without needing ToC?
7) How do you loot items when you basically Sprint + WW through trash and you're off the screen when they die

Here's my gear, sorry but it's probably the worst picture ever:

New stats using the build - good enough?
Edit: Notice I'm using an MF gem in the meta, I could swap to my 16% life and probably gain like 5-6k more hp

For act 3 i recommend:
- 7000-8000 armor
- 750 minimum resist
- 1000 LoH + LL belt.

1k resist all buffed
12k dps
1400 loh
but its way too boring....if u want play a nice barb....do WW build....very fun but a lil expensive
Here are my new stats unbuffed in town:
