dude i dont care, im tired of these people that have been here a month that i know will leave, and im tired of hearing about the graphics. i havn't seen EVERYTHING and i have my own opinions about the graphics that the atmosphere is ok so as long as certain things are there tht im not going to point out because it would be better with a picture. i decided that the lighting truly wont be the deciding factor on its look, the scenes that i want in there will decide that. but im not going into detail about those, i might make a thread about such scenes later on. But i am sure they will be there anyway.

I don't what people are so worried about. He said that the game will be getting even darker as you go through it.
He also explained gameplay issues well when it comes to desaturating your game and using too much gray. Things do get monotonous and gameplay does suffer when you can't identify your character amongst the enemies quickly.
Look out the window and notice the colours which exist.
Also, go caving, check out the colours there too. If any of you have gone into a real cave you will see natural colours the like youve never seen before. The Brilliant reds, Oranges, Greys and blues.

Caves...
Not exactly a cave but still. No fake colors here.

It is quite a beauty to see the insides of a cave... I sometimes wonder to myself if there's anything that could compare, not only to the colors, but to the shapes as well.
I'd like to see more realistic caves in D3. None of that bland white and bland brown caves from A5 and A1 respectively...
Then again alot of D2 players never got outside, so that's what they thought the outside world looked like...

That is from Boulders Gate. Thus negates the argument.

Well, I live in a mountainous region, thus I don't really have to drive far to see caves...
Guess you would have to take my word, or go to youtube...

You have the audacity to post such a comment, and call us gits? That is brilliant.
In any case, this just further proves that Blizzard has no loyalty to it's fans, just their wallets.
Ive got plenty of Audacity If your hurt i will lend you a tear.

I don't mind if there is no color change. I don't want anything holding up diablo III. Like what people said, caves are not pure black. In real life, maybe because the cave would obviously be dried of all its resources.
This Diablo though, a fantasy held long long ago. The caves would obviously be rich in resources. Filled with crystals, vegetations etc. This will obviously create a green color in the cave....
I also believe that the game will change its atmosphere as you venture through acts. Obviously the sanctuary has been pretty clean of demons for 20 years. So I do not expect Diablo III to start in chaos. I expect to start in a peaceful village/town, and as you complete quests, you find more and more demon spawns infesting the sanctuary. I also want to be able to see the contrasts. A dream turned to nightmare. A beautiful forest, except its been infested with demons.
The petition in my opinion had a lot of selfish Diablo fans. I am not 100% against it, but I hate it when the petitioners, which were less than a quarter of the Diablo fan base (assuming that all Diablo fans know such petition exist), attempt to speak for the entire fan base. Claiming blizzard screwed "us" over and that the non-petitioners are "wowers". I am impressed by what blizzard has done so far, and I am sure I will continue to be impressed.

Not ALL of Diablo fans have a issue with the graphics/color/etc etc.
They haven't released a game that has failed in... well in forever.
If it does fail due to graphics and they don't make crap for money, trust me, they'll be kicking their own asses.
Ive got plenty of Audacity If your hurt i will lend you a tear.
It'd be incredibly difficult to do.
