I voted Mephisto but on reflection it probably would be Diablo. I do like Mephisto though. I once got so inebriated that I convinced myself that one of my friends was Mephisto and was out to get me... Pretty weird.

At first he just tried to laugh it off as he thought I was joking but I took his laughing to mean that he was deceiving me which made me even more convinced. It was utterly insane though, I still remember looking into his eyes and genuinely believing that he was in fact the lord of hatred.
Honestly, it was just drink. I have had some funny episodes when drinking too much, I once thought that a kid in Spain was going to do a drive by shooting at me because he looked at me in a strange way. I ran away from the bar we were at and dived into a bush then tried to leave the country but couldn't find my passport.
So there would be a lot of forces of good, where normally there would be forces of hell. I still don't get it,because there are not that many people of good, after the massacre. Why would the Devil need to level up though. He is the most powerful in hell, and the only thing that could kill him would be a great power of good.
Well obviously, Diablo's mom would send her little Dibby out to buy some groceries. Seeing as how hard it is for a large red demon to walk into a grocery story without people freaking out, Diablo would have to chase the cashier all over the world, from the lowest recesses of Wal Mart to the highest peaks of IKEA, all the while fending of hordes of crazed customers trying to stop him. Sure, he might be the Lord of Terror, but it still takes a long time to kill all those people.
And the final boss battle with an ICBM is quite a challenge as well.
Forgive my poor joke, but seriously, that's not the issue. And even if you do want an explanation, well, suppose Azmodan and Belial have both gotten complete control over Hell, and Diablo being utterly weak after a reincarnating ritual. Therefore, he has to level up, and figh demons at the same time... Hey, we might have a D3 title here
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
wow your right we might phrozen.... could you imagine that each character had their own storyline and you have to level them up and compete to take control over hell or what not
I'd pick Andariel, mostly because I like her poison attacks. It's also kind of nifty that she's the only one who has an actual throne (made of bones, no less), while the others seem to just hang out in the corner of a room somewhere. I also like the fact that she's the first one you face; the only way to get to the others is to get through her.
Besides, dressing like a twisted dominatrix named the Maiden of Anguish doesn't seem that bad, eh?
I love Andariel too, Requiem, but I love Mephisto more.
You know, there is a mod that lets you play as these characters that you're talking about. Its still being worked on though, and the guy that was doing it lost all his data so he has to do it again lol, but he hasn't even worked on it for a while. Its very disheartening to have all your work destroyed. Its still pretty freaking cool though. The only thing is that Mephisto doesn't have his aura thing, he's just bone. And his arms kind of seperate from his body when attacking lol, but its cool.
I'm curious now...
