I'd like to see multiplayer obtainable only quests to be placed in the game that somewhat resembles the difficulty of a 5 man World of Warcraft dungeon, but scales to the amount of players that you have in your party when you enter a multiplayer only area. Accompanied by a loot list as well that scales.
Example:
Quest: Slay The Gorgan Queen (Group)
Description: Fight through a series of levels and then slay the gorgan queen. Then according to the number of players in the group it drops loot accordingly to its loot list.
Basically a new World Event such as DClone and Chaos Tristram, essentially end-game challenges ment to be taken on by teams of players?
I'm sure we'll get to see things like this as Blizzard has mentioned multiple times that they wish to give us something do do except "Baal-run" once we beat the game.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
I'm with you, I'm all for scaled quests.
Maybe even quests that require a full game to begin, like massive town-siege type quests, where you need to clear out a town of Fallen warriors, or defend a town from a horde of zombies.

I do not like the idea of "instances" in D3. I like that every aspect of the game is done for single and multiplayer. Despite the fact that this game is strongly encouraged for multi they have said that every aspect of the game is designed for single and multiplayer

From listening to an interview with Jay's, it sounds more like they are trying to scale norm, night, hell to be finished around capped level.

I didn't mean new leveling-inclusions. Since there was no end-game in Diablo 2, all you could do was to run Baal and level. And after patch 1.10 and 1.11, you could also defeat DClone and the Ubers.
Granted, Diablo isn't an MMO, but there's got to be something to urge high-level player to keep playing their characters. PvP is one thing, but not all players enjoy that field. That's what I meant when I said that we'll most likely get something for us users who'd like to have a goal to strive for after beating the game in Hell.

So... You want every aspect of the game on single player that's on multiplayer? Why?
In my opinion, this is what made Diablo so great. If I feel like playing with a group of my friends I can. However, if I just want to play by myself the game is still just as fun. I know it has been said before but Diablo is not an MMO. I think any content added just for multiplayer would just make it feel more like an MMO rather than a action/rpg play style. Once you start forcing people to play in groups to obtain items/rewards they can not obtain on their own, then you start venturing into the MMO realm. There is also an interview, I believe it's the game developer one (could be wrong, i watched them all in one day), they said that they are not going to add anything that you can not do in single player. To me this is the right idea, allow people to group but do not force them. That is why I love Diablo.
