It doesn't look like skill runes stack by the reading. It looks like maybe when you equip one it replaces the old one that was equiped? Is this right? For example .. Wizzy Hydra skill, It doesn't look like you can use an Indigo and an Obsidian runes to stack different elements to use against mobs that are immune some things. So I can either remove or overwrite the rune thats on the skill with a new one so I can change on the fly what elements I want to use again monsters? Anyone have in depth info on this?
You can't use multiple runes together because each rune creates an entirely different version of the skill. Some runes effect don't have any impact on the element either.
You also did not realize that complete immunity are not in the game. Choosing the right element will surely help in some battle but it won't be mandatory.
I also doubt you can constantly change the runes in your skill, you probably lose the rune you had. It would be pretty overpowered to be able to change it on the fly all the time. In fact, I would not be surprised if you could only change them in town/out of combat.
But that last paragraph is just speculation, I don't remember any info about this.
i doubt you'd lose the rune, they'll probably use the same system for taking out jems, i would assume you have to pay gold to take them out at the caravan.
I think i read somewhere that as it is now you can just take out the rune and use another pretty much as it is with gear, but i'm afraid i don't have a link and i'm too bored to look right now.

Well that probably depends on how hard it is to get high level runes. If its a long level-up process like gems, chances are you can remove them. If they are easier to get, they could make it so that you had to get a new one each time. I personally hope they go for just paying to remove runes, but I'm just saying they could design runes around having to get a lot of them.

I personally hope too that you can just pay to remove them, that sounds good enough. I just don't want people to have reasons of constantly switching between runes as if that was the efficient thing to do. So obviously a limit must exist.
Making the runes rarer (not super rare, nothing like D2 rune kind of rare) but you actually keep them is appealing to me. Having to replace them all the time because I want to try other things, not so exciting.
