100 level gems are not nigh end. 200 top is not high end. This is "casual", like me.
115+ gems are high end. top10 is high end.
Oh please, you know this is bs. I get that everyone likes to call himself "casual" based on some concept that there are only winners, losers and casuals, who somehow are the real winners because they would be #1, yet don't invest the time since they spend it on superior activities.
No one with 100+ hours into this season would get that "casual"-stamp outside of our bubble. So why don't we try to find a better term for people like us? How about just "gamers"? There's nothing wrong with spending lots of time with a hobby without becoming world champion, just look at football players for example.
I don't have a problem being casual myself. Why so mad bro?
"Gamers" are totally different from "casuals". Gamers just play for some hours, stream with "Newbie player in D3" description and then move onto another game when they hit paragon 600.
Casuals like me, are either retired players who have no will to grind repetitive stuff or simply players who cannot invest 10 hours a day into Diablo, but still play the game and enjoy it to some extent. Just without fanaticism
It is hard to implement new terms but Solmyr77 is right. Casuals are normally refered to as players who lack in knowledge about the game and play for "fun". We also play for fun but with something competitional in mind. We would be embarassed not being able to get into the leaderboards with whatever time we invest and we follow the scene, the ladderstatistics and discuss about builds, etc. . Imo that is per definition of the word not "casual".
Maybe something like
would work. But who would use this? It will just be high end or casual
talking about math, does the nerf to the fist of fury will affect drastically the dmg of the monks?
a lot but not drastically. now FoF is best choice for dps and pph builds. FoF deal ~ 190% * 9 (= 1710%) + DoT part 60% * (9 * 5) / 3 (= 900%) = 2610%. after nerf 2010% (~30% diff).
but not all so simple. you can't keep all your AS buffs 100% up time. so final diff can be about 40-50%.
