Ok, to start, my launcher no longer comes up, it just auto starts the game and i never even see the launcher. The diablo 3 logo appears, then dissapears for a flash, then appears again, and then it just loads the game in the login screen. I imagine this isnt supposed to be the case, as I have yet to read anything about doing away with the launcher. Also, I am not clicking on anything while this goes on, or doing anything but waiting for it to load, so this is not a user control error, lol.
Second: I have experienced total freezes in the game world. Now, this isnt a WoW lock-up type freeze. I can still run around, and cast spells and such, but the actual spell never casts(just the animation does, like arms flailing to signal a cast), and all the monsters stand still and i cannot and they cannot do any damage, even tho the sound fx still play and such. Basically, it just seems like transmission stopped, and the client never recognizes this. This has happened to me twice, both times at no latency or previous lag.
Third: the Demon hunter has a slight aim issue. It doesnt make conact sometimes with inanimate objects or creatures unless directly hovered on that target. For example, if you hover the mouse directly behind a target, the projectile will go to the side of the target, but if you hover at say 10 or 2 oclock of the target (left or right depending) it actually then hits the target. this is easy to adjust for, but i would imagine in later stages of the game with diffuclty ramping up and speed of the essence, this could hinder the average player. Also, i did not notice this problem on the mage, funnily enough.
Fourth: Neckalces are rediculously rare. I dunno if this is as intended, but I get my fair share of rings and all other gear types, but neck pieces are so rare that with 4 beta complete characters, I have gotten 1 neck drop. Also, 1 of those 4 characters redid the beta from start, and still didnt get any necklaces. Empty gear slots = sadface.
Fifth: Upon swapping skills on my hotbar, I get a really long CD before I can use my new ability. I really hope this isnt as intended, because it really stops gameplay with only 4 buttons to use, and then swapping one for a different use/area, and having to sit for 30 seconds before you can use it? Doesn't sound like the fast paced game you guys were talking about...
1.) Idiot doesn't understand that the patcher only pops up for patches.
2.) This one I assume he is reporting the known lock issue with rapidfire
3.) Idiot doesn't understand shift+click
4.) Somehow rare drops is a bug? WTF
5.) This one is just straight derrrrpppppp.... Hes right cool down on swill swapping is a bug. There should be no such thing as skill swapping outside of town...
Plenty of ignorant jerks running around with beta keys out there, however, I don't think a post dedicated to ridiculing one in particular is necessary. We are all well aware of the proliferation of idiots that post on Diablo 3 forums.
And You call him idiot? He is just casual player and probably blizzard is glad that that kind of person gets beta instead of You mister MANER.
Just sad.
Oh lordy.... do you understand what a beta is SUPPOSED to be? Its not supposed to be some demo... or prerelease of the game. Its a release that is used to find bugs... actual bugs. Before you ask what makes me so special... I work as a professional Software Quality Assurance Engineer.... (as you didn't know what beta is supposed to be i'll explain what I do. I TEST software for a living.... I don't just test software GUIs... i actually attempt to break it and make it crash. Then i step through the code and send it back to development once i locate the bug)
This guy named maybe 1 fucking bug... and he did 5 in 1 thread on the bug report forums. Everyone SHOULD know by now that you only report one per thread... how many fucking times has Vassadan had to say that?
I'm not in beta either, but there's no reason to start whining. Blizzard betas have always been exclusive. Listing your credentials don't give you the right to start swearing up a storm about proper bug reporting procedure and if it does, I would imagine you could be more creative than calling someone an idiot or using derp... The video game community as a whole is just terrible these days.
I consider myself immature, but there's a difference between that and being just plain rude. What's the deal? Are you angry that someone you feel is less qualified than you? is in beta?
I reckon it's good that they don't just give all the diablofans that have been waiting several years a beta. It's great to have an opinion from every gamer type but most importantly casual players may see some bugs that the semi-hardcore and hardcore won't and vise versa

"Hey, I thought you'd like the witty irony of grub-on-glowie violence!"
That guys pretty RIDICULOUSLY unintelligent. The Amulet thing made me lose my shit. "EMPTY GEAR SLOTS = SAD FACE" oh man, I'm still laughing. When he called them "Nekalces" I froze up resisting the outburst that came shortly after no matter what I could do.

I never said anything about WHY i deserve beta in this thread. Said nothing about me and beta at all in this thread. I just said that dude is a total idiot that doesn't know how to submit a bug report... doesn't bother to search how to submit a bug report... and doesn't fucking know what a bug is.

As was apparent from his post he was unaware of that and wanted to share his findings. That's a good thing, contributing. A lot of people who have a beta don't do that. Ofcourse it would be preferable if everyone would do it perfectly, but everyone makes mistakes. I consider his first point silly, second and third points good, fourth is... kind of weird, but I can understand people wanting to fill up their character with loot, empty slots suck. His 5th point is just him saying he doesn't like a 30 second cooldown.
You should be telling him what he did wrong so he can do it better next time if it annoys you to the point of posting about it. Obviously without flaming, as I believe you want to vent your rage for whatever reason you have it.
U srs?
Are you actually defending the guy who posted that? Because everything he's saying is pretty basic knowledge of Diablo, Video Games, or takes literally one iota of knowledge on the Diablo 3 game itself to understand.
as a feed back post, the original post isnt that bad, but its not a bug report post thats for sure.
It's not even feed back? It's a guy complaining about things he has no idea of.

I wasn't saying you didn't deserve one. So what I said was a bit off topic I'm just saying, idiots can find bugs too! even if they didn't know what one was and it hit them in the face.....It is a pain in the arse when people like that get a beta key when they clearly have trouble with the easy things but its just what we've got to put up with I guess

The guy called all of them bugs.
It's not "BINGO" ... That post isn't even feedback.

I wouldn't fault him for the patcher not coming up. I bet 99% of players ask themselves the same question as most other online games have the launcher as part of the launch sequence.
You mentioned you work as a Software QA Engineer? Why are you surprised someone knows less about bug reporting than you?
The moral of the story is:
1.) most of what he said wasn't bugs... and doesn't come close to the definition of a bug (even a logical bug)
2.) He didn't bother to read the READ THIS BEFORE POSTING A BUG thread... and still posted a worthless bug.
3.) If they released the whole game to beta testers (specifically of this caliber)... Blizzard would spend more time sorting the bug report forum than actually being able to fix the game.

While I agree the original post isn't great, the responses are just typical gamers these days. This person isn't experienced as me so he must be a noob and doesn't deserve beta.
