I've been noticing that there have been less and less release date speculation threads being formed. Either you have all given up on a release announcement, or you just don't give a crap anymore, like me.

Or people started using the pinned thread that was meant for such discussion so we don't flood the forums anymore?
There just hasn't been any new info since the financial conference call. Besides, everybody has been digesting the patch 13 changes. I wouldn't be surprised to get a release date announcement in a few weeks, now that the last major game system change has been revealed and patched in.
And what makes you say this will be *the* last major games system change? Did they officially say they are restraining themselves from ever changing any major games system again until release? Keep in mind, if they did then they completely are backing off their "It's ready when it's ready" mantra.
There isnt much to give a crap about. Honestly, its probably just my opinion, but Im over the stage of being excited for this game.
If it comes out, I'll buy a copy of the regular edition, but Im years beyond the stage of searching the internet for a collectors edition. I in fact canceled my CE in December.
Add to the fact they are still changing stuff and you have a whole lot not to be excited about.
I have this feeling now that I will buy D3, but like Starcraft I'll only play it through once and relies that you just cant bring back that feeling of your gaming golden years.

Oh, I give a crap. I just think that me and others like me have stopped speculating since the Q2 announcement in the conference call. The window is pretty narrow at this point compared to what we had for so long which was basically just "SoonTM" which is pretty much like saying nothing. Wheher it's April or (more likely) May or June, we know it's not coming right away but it is imminent.
I'm in the process of writing a program that will reveal the exact date and time D3 will be released in North America. The program will use variables gathered from multiple sources and factor in human phsycology and social paradigms.
Look out for it on youtube coming soon...
