After weeks on the Beta, endless late nights on youtube watching D3 related stuff I must say the game looks amazing! its 1 thing that makes me really really dissapointed tough.
Lvl 60 max lvl wich is "easy" to get, I started my nerd online career with D2 back in the day, and 1 of the things that made the game so repeatable and fun was the fact that lvl 99 was fucking hard to get. yes I know they went for the extra difficulty instead blablabla, but why not both?
Edit: thing nr 2, I want ladder and I wanna grind lvls like back in the days, the feeling u get when chasing nr 1 is epix!
I found the grind to 99 to be tedious and unnecesary. I think the highest I ever bothered to get was 97, and that was mostly just a side-effect of a billion MF runs.

...and if you disagree with me, you're probably <insert random ad hominem attack here>.
I think they're doing it right this time through... make accomplishments the focus... not the drool inducing exp grind. Sure, with accomplishment grind comes gear grind, but gear drops are half the fun in the game imo :).

I really loved Ladder. It's one of the things that really kept me coming back to D2. It really is a fun challenge to try to get on the leaderboards.
I can imagine myself a lot and lot of grinding now cause it's much more fun than in D2, lots of environment interaction destroyable objects mobs mini events, just chill out with favorite podcast in the backround and endless grind xD I am already drooling
Dont get me wrong, Ill be doing exatly the same thing, and im probably gonna love it for a loong time BUT I will miss the ladder and the "extra reward of occationally getting another lvl and getting a tiny bit stronger while doing so, but I get their idea, and what they are doing I guess i just dont agree with it
(Must add that i love they way they did it with skills and runes, much better than the illisuion of skilltree like in d2
Well, official info states you'll reach 60 at about the end of Hell (from what I remember). Considering "you'll beat Inferno in a few weeks" then level 60 should be at about.... 1-2 weeks of play? And serious play at that.

I understand your frustration and i agree to some degree but it would be a lot harder to make the content challenging if you out level the content eventually.
And what would be the point anyway? we don't have skill points/attributes allocation anymore, that system would just mean that we would either just get empty levels without any specific reward, i wouldn't mind PVE ladder/ranking system though, maybe based around the number/points of achievements instead of levels, or maybe another "grind" goal.
