Does the number after the name mean that I'm the X that chose the name, or is it totally random?
For instance if I go for Adrian, then it can be Adrian#893402384
And if I go jdksfjasdfjsldfjasdf, it should be jdksfjasdfjsldfjasdf#1
Or how does it work?
I just want to clarify to myself, to know if I should actually think of a unique name to not have 4 digits after it, or the numbers are random.
Anyone has any idea or info about this?
P.S
I never chose a battle tag.
So If I chose now, Will I still be able to change it later on via the free name change, or because I didn't pick one, I lost that opportunity?
four digits makes over like 4million combinations ... i am not a mathamagician but 4 to the power of 9 sound right math nerds ? some one out there will let us know, you can count on that.

Four digits of only numbers makes 10000 combinations.... 0000 + 1-9999... Nothing specifically mathematical about the approach. Thats why you need both the number and name to add the friend, limitless combinations at that point.

Lol, no. I assume you were trolling, but still. It would be 10^4, which is ten thousands per "name". I don't know what they'll with the 10001st person who puts "Jack" as their Battletag.

This.
I don't know what happens after 4 digits, or if its even possible to get less or more.

You mean even if there is NO ONE with my name, I will still get 4 digits?
That can't be true that way you'd have 9 digits after the name
But I catch your drift.
What about the BT change?
Do I still have one if I didn't chose a BT yet?
i am surly not the 2281th of my name
how about... 4 digits...
9999+1 combinations? xD
from
0001-9999
and
0000
=
10000 of same name
