Is everyone else getting bombarded with friend requests from gold sellers? It seems like every time I sign in I have to spend the first 5 minutes reporting spam. It got so bad one time that I got logged out due to "too many actions" and all I was doing was reporting spam.
Why the heck aren't they doing anything about this? It seems to me that it should be fairly straightforward that if an account gets reported as spam by a certain threshold of people (5,10, whatever) that the game should automatically revoke any outstanding friend requests. I'm sick of wasting time on this and honestly sometimes I just don't bother logging in because I don't want to deal with it.
You know how I deal with it? Well I don't. I don't bother to report them or delete them I just let them sit there
in friend limbo. It only bothers you because you let it. There's not a gigantic pop up that says, "Friend Request!".
Nope just a little bar that pops up and then it's gone.
Just let them sit there and pretty soon they won't bother you at all.
P.S. If blizzard really had an efficient way deal with spam they would have implemented it by now.

That however, seems like either an extreme exaggeration. Either that, or something is indeed wrong.

^This is exactly why I posted this here. I bet I get ten requests a day. I haven't logged in for like a week. I'm not sure if I'm being targeted for my participation on some website or they got my bnet ID somewhere or what. I don't like to just "ignore them" because I want to be able to see when I get legit friend requests and I don't believe in being a passive participant and just hoping someone else reports them for spam.
Does anyone know how they get your btag to send you a friend request? Do I need to stop participating in chat rooms?
