Since Crushing Blow is currently adversely skewing data and feedback from the beta, we're going to remove it for the time being. We'll be continuing to iterate on this stat in the meantime.

The duration increase to shrines is being changed from 60 minutes to 10 minutes
All the crushing blow I was seeing while watching stream disapointed me about this stats. It looked so powerfull. They are doing what it had to be done, reworking it.
They said they wanted crushing blow to compete with AS,CC,CD but it seemed to be now THE must have affix on gear.
Crushing blow should be something based on your damage and skills. Does X% of your weapon damage, cannot occurs more than once per 15 sec. Or something like that.
We will see more feedback on how people would like this to work here and on diablo forums.
10-15 minutes is still a very decent amount of time for those buffs.
But in the end, it will have to be compared with other Legendary gloves in order to determine how high that number must be. If another glove gives some insane survivability (like the new Ice Climbers), then the numbers would probably have to be higher. An item is only as viable as its relative power compared to the alternatives.
Crushing Blow adds nothing to the game from my pov. Both in D2 and D3 its an extremely boring stat, gameplay wise. With so many interesting ideas for combat, I find it weird they chose this particular combat trait to bring back. Maybe for nostalgia's sake <_<
Is it just me that feels that both the gloves and crushing blow are fine and that the problem is cooldown reduction?
The only reason to get the gloves right now is the empowered shrine. Boost your CDR as much as possible.
They tried to nerf the barb fury generation to the ground but all they achieved is to give him a perma stun, a perma slow and a perma freeze.
Monk gets perma heal and blind, Wizard perma slow and stun, etc.
I feel that infinite resource is going to hurt the game more than what you guys say about CB.
I can hear you think right now that the gloves is the problem, but what if there was no CDR? Would the gloves be overpowered?
But what if I need to use my Black Hole twice in a fight in order to kill this elite? Well that's why you have CB and CHD.
If you think about it, there comes a time when fighting a 20Billion HP boss that CB becomes useless and you need to rely on your real damage to kill it. When it's 100M HP you need to have enough toughness and enough healing to survive the length of the fight to kill it.
But with enough CDR you can actually perma CC it and screw the defensive stats.
And who cares if CB crits for 100M? There is no LL anymore. No more OP healing.
Just my 2c.
I feel the same way about CDR. I think there defiantly needs to be DR on that, or maybe a hard cap at 75% of a skills CD. Even without the damage and the range, the monks Breath of Heaven being at 0CD still gives him free healing forever, ruining the whole thought process of making healing more important.
CB might be strong, but you're right if you don't have the EHP and the DPS for the last 1/4 of the mobs life, it's really not that great. Now sure in groups it'l probably be best to have one person stack CB, but I also immediately foresee gear swapping for CB now. Hit your macro for CB to 1/3rd or so of the mobs life, then hit your second macro back to your regular setup. Now on this particular problem, Blizzard just needs to implement being in combat and out of combat, and lock gear / skills while 'in combat', and make being 'in combat' last around 15 seconds after damaging a mob.
But Rockstar Punched is awesome and now I'm rambling lol, carry on gents!

Crushing Blow seems like many dislike. It will not impact my Barb much atm.

Exactly the point of killing CB. Hopefully we'll see somebody at least attempt that now.
You do realize that most countries outside the US write it as day/month/year right?
