If your talkin about pvm, then the best char is obviously the hammerdin. In pvp, it could be anything. Any character in the game is able to destroy a game. Just depends on how good you are with it. A lot of people will say that a hammerdin is the best for pvp, but thats only because most dont know how to kill them. An infinity sorc has massive damage, although any decent melee should rape it np. I'd go with a druid in pvp. Mb vs melee's, keep up cyclone vs elementals and keep your summons alive. If you learn to play it well, most kids will be easy.

Ahh. Never heard that before. Interesting.
I'd love to see that in action.

Yeah, it is a good build. They're very good duelers. Until you break their cyclone armor, then they're easy as long as you keep teleing around so they can't land right on you. Just zap them a few times and they're done after that.
What about Necromancer duelers? Necromancer is my favorite class and I'm not tryin' to fanboy out or anything but I've always heard about how Necros, if you pulled it off perfectly, can be pretty dangerous duelers.
Never made a PvP Nec myself.

Lightning Sorceress. I've gotten up to 50k damage per shot. That combined with high FCR and Infinity makes you, ostensibly, God. I've seen people who've gotten as high as 55k.
I hit 58k with a skill shrine :P.....you can hit really high damage with lite but its better to sacrifice some damage for cast rate...tho ull still hit well over 40k with max cast rate I believe
@OP: Hdin is the best hands down(for PVM) or some type or hybrid with charge/smite(for pvp anyways). Altho I found a lot of top tier duelers also used bone necros, wwsins, and ele druids
What makes a Hammerdin so good in PvP? I haven't played LoD in about 6 years, but when I quit playing, they were at the bottom in PvP
Maybe they werent good 6 years ago, I cant think back that far. But now, you can hit up to around 16k with 9x pcombat gc's (i use 4 though). With 4 gcs, you can get 14k dmg, use the rest of your space and you have plenty of room for 20/5's with gives mass res. If you can synch/telestomp, your good to go. Only char you shouldnt be able to outtank when you tele on em is the druid if they have their wolves up(This is just assuming that everyone has good gear). But just stack hammers or grief druids and its np.

But if you take in to account the increased cast rate, you actually get a ton more damage in
I have to agree with every one else on the Hdin being the strongest. But I don't think it should be nerfed. I think all of the other classes need to be enhanced to have competitive end game builds available.
Any character can take on a din easily, but you need near perfect gear for it. A din, on the other hand, basically just needs an Enigma and he's set. If anything, I think that needs to be fixed- the balancing of characters per gear. If that makes sense? It's hard to explain.
Having a din though isn't as great it seems. You become a shadow of your former self, like women who get a boobs job. Sometimes they look better with it, but now they're now more like everyone else. Avoid atypical character builds in my opinion. Even if that means you aren't quite as super powerful.

Yeah with enough practice a lot of atypical builds can really shine. Ive seen a double throw barb tear a game of decent duelers apart same for those crying barbs or w/e there called. Its to bad a lot of those builds require insanely hard to find gear sometimes and without it they just plain suck

Omg wcer's are so much fun. My brother used to be such a beast with wcer's. He was literally the first to be able to rape games with em. At least on USEast he was.

Really what was his account?, wcer's were popular for like a year or so till ppl realized the gear was ridiclous to get( the ammy and the circlet with required stats was friggin impossible to find) Damm this makes me want to make a wcer on the new ladder LMAO

I think his acct was Finkmoney. People just knew him as Fink though. His Wcer name was Puberty. This was on non ladder. And ya a perfect helm costs so much, luckily he had a bunch of rich friends to help him out.

I do remember that WCer hahaha crazy that was a long ass time ago
Hammerdins are easy to gear for and will never have trouble killing any monster in the game. However I have to agree that lightning sorcs are better. Expect more expensive gear. My merc never dies in any situation except for IM so just use a low damage infinity and you are set. Since its much easier to kill stuff with lightning than hammers IM isnt really even that significant if youre good. Not to mention that sorcs can tele without nigma so they're easier to make as a first character.
I find javazons get boring fast but for some reason bowazons dont. But dont expect to out-damage sorcs or dins with one.

It's awesome watching them mow down other players. Or just monsters. Bowas, that is. I've never made a good one, though. I love my glass cannons
