Just wanted to drop in here and announce that the curse IT team just added the math extension to diablowiki, which means we'll finally be able to add nice formulas to the wiki. To commemorate this moment I intended to add our first real theorycrafting article to the wiki, but after about five minutes I realized I wouldn't really do a good job with it (read: it looked retarded).
But seeing as how there are so many fine theorycrafters righe here on diablofans, and how I would in the end have been stealing all your theorycrafting anyway, I am hereby asking any and all of you to take this opportunity and go nuts in the wiki. EHP, attributes, damage calculations, everything you can think of. This stuff deserves to be in there and could really benefit a lot of basic articles we already have. And do take the opportunity to source back to your original posts here in the forum too when writing these
I'll be happy to assist you with any questions or problems that might arise, so long as you do the actual writing
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
I would prefer if any and all provided links only lead to actual tests and proof, not someone stating "X is Y".
Accuse me of aiming low, but I don't think we're going to reach the level of a peer-reviewed paper here to begin with. Any theorycrafting theory is better than none, so long as uncertain concepts are at the very least stated to be uncertain or theorized.

As for accuracy, it is a wiki which can be edited. People will reference something then find it to be incorrect and thus can be modified. As Phrozen says we arent writing a technical paper to be published. All equations/formulas etc are going to be uncertain unless Blizzard state they are correct or we can prove without a doubt they are accurate. It is better that there is somewhere people can go for information for calculations than nowhere

I completely agree. I think there are quite a few people willing to help on this, me included.
