I am casting spells like meteor and blizzard which do not require "attack speed" as I know it. I switched out attack speed gloves for higher intelligence ones and my "damage" as stated on the character sheet dropped by 140 despite being more intelligence. Is the "damage" calculation in the character sheet the basis for all spell damage? Does that mean I should use the attack speed gloves even if the spells I cast are not attack speed based?
