An angel with four faces, those of a man, a lion, an eagle, and a bull- a Seraphim, an Angel. in the story, an Angel descends from heaven and fathers four children with a mortal woman. Their offspring are the Nephalem, the fallen ones. They have the souls of angels but they weren't meant to be, they are deformed, tormented. So the lord sends the Seraphim to earth to bring back the souls of the Nephalem, to keep the devil from claiming them as his own. The Nephalem were smote with the brightness of his countenance, to look upon the seraphim in all his glory, is to give up one's soul to heaven.
What book is your story from? are you not part of the high council travincal thing or did u just not read my essay? Its on that, I have never heard the 4 faces described like that in the bible, are you positive its the story in the bible?they are metaphorical either way. there are TONS of giant/nephalim stories as it is one of the oldest stories of our existence
There are pagen giant stories like that of gilgamesh, other mesopotamian ones and then there is the long line of "biblical" ones and also those that did not make it in the bible, all are very similar.

The Nephalem are among the highest ranked demons in Hell, second only to Lucifer himself. They become the Nephalem when Lucifer took 1 third of the Angelic Choir with him when he was cast out of Heaven.
The Nephalem are the polar opposite of the Seraphim. Some of the other choirs (Cherubim, Virtues, etc) also have a polar opposite, some don't. It is a misconception that because there are 7 Virtues, that the 7 sins are their polar opposite. That is false, as it is demons in the upper ranks, mostly the Nephalem, who tempt men with objects or desires that are based on or around one of the seven sins.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

Oh various places many of which tend to contradict each other, books, movies, comics, graphic novels, poorly translated bibles (not every bible has the same source thus there are different versions of it) and to a lesser extent, wikipedia.

There was an X Files about this, and they hid upside-down crosses in the background in all the scenes.

D3 Pros: Outdoors environment, night time environment, female Barbarian, rune spell system, the Wizard class
D3 Cons: Fantasy architecture, fantasy armor, fanstasy weapons, no shaders.
You can make lots of associations between Diablo lore names and religions and mythologies over the centuries, starting with the big D himself. Heck, the combined lore of humanity is an excellent starting place for sourcing ideas and names...

So we've got over the problem of colour in D3. Great. Now let's argue about everything else not yet set in stone and help make this game simply great! Game on.
