This is my first barbarian build idea. It's a build which the barbarian run for the front lines and drawn the monster's attention and then strike back with revenge. But what's the point of doing that if I’m gonna die? In order to make this build playable i also have to increase my defensive abilities.
I will start the fight using Golden Leap Attack. This will thrown me in the position between monsters and my allies, give me a huge armor boost for a few seconds and provides me with 15 Fury. With one Bash i will have 21+ Fury, which is just enough to use Crimson Threatening Shout. This skill not only reduces all damage I will take but will also force enemies to attack me, not my friends.
As hordes of monsters attacks me with their petty debuffed damage, they will proc my Indigo Revenge, which allows me to strike then back and even recover part of the HP lost while tanking. The indigo rune increase revenge proc rate which is really important since revenge is my main damage skill.
In case of grave danger (tons of super strong enemies mobbing all over me) I can use Crimson Ignore Pain to further reduce the damage I take - and further return damage taken.
Getting beaten should also provide me with good amounts of fury. Crimson Whirlwind seen to be just the perfect way to unleash it since monster should be all really close to me at this point.
Looks like this strategy is just perfect to destroy a mass of swarming enemies since they will easily proc revenge multiple times. But against bosses I lose my main damage skill, it seen. Indigo Bash is here to fix this issue. This rune allows me to increase bash's damage if I commit to spam it. After 8 charges it deals even more damage than hammer of the ancients and generates fury for whirlwind or threatening shout.
Passive Skills Explanation
Tough as Nails is a no minder choice. I'm supposed to soak a lot of damage and 100% armor bonus seen to be perfect for that end. The 100% thorns damage bonus might be also useful if stacking up thorns turns out to be viable in D3. Bloodthirst regain life seen to be a really good idea for an build that constantly takes damage. It will increase the amount of life regenerated by revenge and increase my tank potential while spamming bash on bosses. It might also help give me a powerful health recovery when I use whirlwind. Superstition increases my survivability while fighting elemental damage dealers. An important skill since most of my defensive skills only improves my physical damage mitigation.
Other Skills to Consider War Cry generates fury and increase my defensive stats in many different ways. I did not include it because i think bash + leap + soaking damage is enough fury generation for a build that use revenge (a fury free skill) to deal damage. But in case i need more fury and defensive buffs, i will replace Ignore Pain with it. Furious Charge might be better then Leap Attack. It has greater damage and a rune that buff the fury generator by a considerable amount. I will use it if Leap's defense buff is not needed and I need more damage and fury. Ancient Spear is another option to replace leap. It does not give me the important position advantage, but it allows me to pull ranged attackers and hit then with revenge. An good choice for soloing since I will not have to worry about position so much once I’m not not tanking monster for my allies. Pound of Flesh seen to be an second choice as HP recovery skill. I choose bloodthirst because grab health globes might be difficult while surrounded by enemies. In other hand bloodthirst is completely dependent on damage done and this is not a dedicated DPS build. I will surely test both.

"In time the hissing of her sanity
Faded out her voice and soiled her name
And like marked pages in a diary
Everything seemed clean that is unstained
The incoherent talk of ordinary days
Why would we really need to live?
Decide what is clear and what's within a haze
What you should take and what to give" - Opeth
