I ner said it was not viable, i said it was sub-optimal. I doubt that you will ever be in a state where having too much fury will be an issue. If it comes to this, spamming a fury spender will solve this out.
By the time you have spammed that spender, I have floored a bunch of mobs & about to floor the next room. Using a Mighty 2hander along with Animosity will put fury generation through the roof.
Atleast I hope so or I will cry like a little girl.

It, nice to dream... Doing 475% damage ain't gonna floor that much...
Weapon Throw is really really bad at the current patch. It does really minimal damage for a skill that only hits a single target. Maybe the 445% damage worth 100 fury, specially because it's instant and will likely kill the minions... In any case, I think the original build was a good one because of the basic concept (but maybe not Inferno Material).
Theres no reason to try to regenrate fury in order to use Dread Bomb all time. The AoE is too small to be effective against thrash mobs and the damage/fury relation to bad to... It's circustancial antiboss / anti elite stuff. The focus should be doing damage and survival without eating your fury, so you will have it when boss comes around.
Sadly after the dmg Nerf and target nerf to ricochet (only can hit 3 targets) a throw barb really isn't viable anymore as an end-game build choice UNLESS there is gear that increases the number of targets hit

Dread Bomb is anticlimactic. 1:3x fury:damage, and the AoE is only 12 yards. Seismic slam (runed) does 1:10x fury:damage, but it's AoE is a 45 yard arc (huge).
Ricochet Throw is still the most efficient skill in the game, yielding 1:45 fury:damage. With Weapon master (Mighty), you only spend 1 fury per throw, making it, well, 1:450 fury:damage. It also slows, and It loses NO efficiency as long as there are at least 2 enemies on the screen. Throw might be the most OP skill right now.
Slightly off topic, but HotA is also going to be an underdog skill. 100% AoE stun for 3 seconds on enemy kill? Amazing.

Yeah...something like this seems like it would be better than a Dread Bomb build:
I'm not sold on whether Revenge and Overpower (and their runes) would be ideal (since theres no room for No Escape now), but theres enough of a base to tinker around and figure out what is.
Great build man; very similar to mine. I decided not to go with overpower or revenge though, as those required me to be close to the enemy. Also, all of your passives increase your damage. I prefer a more balanced approach. I almost chose invigorate for War Cry as well, but in the end I couldn't pass up the resistance gained from Impunity. 50% is freaking HUUUGE.
Basically like yours. Leap+Stomp to gather everything up and stun them all. WW them for a few seconds (it actually gains fury), and Merciless Assault/Throw for long range fights. Multi-hit moves like WW maximize your "Weapons Master" passive.
I regret not being able to put in berserker rage, since fury will be almost impossible to eat through, but the added survivability is worth it IMO.

That is much less damage over the course of a fight than a Dread Bomb build. You replace damage dealing fury generators with shouts, giving you a little more defensive build at the cost of extending fights. Is that a good trade off?
When I threw together my build, my typical (not best/not worst) scenario would be where Cleave and Overpower hit 3 mobs. Over a 10 sec fight, assuming no procs (which gives reliability), I'd use Battle Rage, Furious Charge, Over Power, four Cleaves and then Weapon Throw. Again, my best estimate.
Using this build: http://us.battle.net...UVeP!ZYW!ZbYcbZ, I'd lose 20 Fury from BR, and gain ~135 from Fury generators (56 from Cleave, 36 from Overpower, 31 from FC) allowing for a 100+ Fury Dread Bomb. [These numbers reflect the bonus from Animosity]
Over the course of that fight with no crits, each mob would take 1850% weap damage. (480% from 4 Cleaves, 195% from FC, 260% from Overpower, and 490% from WT+DB)x1.3 from BR.
Substituting Revenge, War Cry, and losing Momentum will offer alternative gains, but at the cost of Damage or Fury generation.
Using the same scenario with this build will yield 195% from FC, 125% from Leap, 260% from OP, 220% from Rev, 580% from 4 WTs (maybe 725% if 5) you get 1525% total.
And using Seismic Slam is more per damage per Fury than Dread Bomb, but not damage per second. Again, against 3 mobs, Cleave generates 14 Fury. Allowing a Seismic Slam for nearly every Cleave. Comparing just a Cleave spam with Seismic Slam vs a Cleave spam with Dread Bomb over that same 10 sec, 8 Cleaves and a 112 Fury Dread Bomb would be 1441% damage vs. 5 Cleaves and 5 Seismic Slams' 1375% damage.
Maybe math isn't the best way to theorize the game, but it's the best way for me to theorize it. So I'll go with it.

Between all the generators combined with Weapon Master, I think WotB is gonna be up an awful lot. Between Invigorate and the slowing effect of Weapon Throw, it turns into a HEAVY hitting kiter basically. But it sounds fun

Actually, that build I linked does much more damage per fury than yours does. Just refer to nukewarm's post that you also included in your quote. It will also work out to be MUCH MORE dps because if nukewarm's theory about weapon master (mighty) is correct than a full hit from ricochet will make it cost ONE fury to use. In other words, SPAM CITY.
In your example you did 1850% weapon damage to 3 enemies over 10 seconds.
That works out to 5550% weapon damage, or 555 dps.
The build I just updated - http://us.battle.net...SkP!ZYX!ZZYbZc. I would charge in and hit all 3 enemies for 220% = 660%. Then I would activate WotB and Leap Attack directly onto where I was already standing causing 125% to each enemy = 375% and another 75% to 3 = 225% from the rune effect giving us 600%. Next comes Warcry and Ancient Spear to recap our fury and get Berserker Rage back up, doing 185% to 1 enemy. We're at 1445% so far and its only taken us 3-4 seconds. Next comes the spamming. We can assume because might weapons are 1h and the bonus attack speed from dual wielding, coupled with the ASI from WotB, we'll be getting roughly 2 Weapon Throws out per second. That gives us 12-14 result in either 510% times 12 or 14 which = 6120% and 7140% respectively. We can also figure because of lowering the cooldown by 6 seconds, that we'll have time for 1 more charge which is an additional 660% weapon damage.
That brings us to a grand total of 8225% or 9245% weapon damage.
Resulting in either 822.5 dps (49% increase over yours) or 924.5 dps (67% increase over yours).
Either way, you see my build is not only much more EFFICIENT, but also more EFFECTIVE.
edit:
I forgot to factor Berserker Rage into the damage Ancient Spear would cause, so add another 25% weapon damage on to the totals, and 2.5 dps as well.
There also might be a small period (2-3 seconds), where Berserker Rage isn't active and would require waiting until the second charge takes place to recap fury off, but thats only assuming we're not generating fury by getting hit (which probably isn't the case).
The 1850% damage was per mob over that time. So 5550% over 10 sec vs 3 mobs... and I didn't calculate the WotB due to it not being up 100% of the time.
Over that same time if I do include WotB (as you did), that's 11,100% (damage alone, not including IAS). So really an increase of 20% over yours. I used 1 attack per second in my estimate, which would be using a 2H Sword. Plus, skills like Ancient Spear and Leap will take longer given their animation.
Using two 1H Mighty Weapons will result in a much lower weapon damage too. http://us.battle.net...-of-the-warlord has a 244 DPS vs http://us.battle.net...en/item/maximus which has a 776 DPS (and there are two 2H swords above this with 1205 and 1386 DPS, all with much higher avg Damages too). So 9245% weapon damage of a 244 DPS weapon vs 11,100% weapon damage of a 776 DPS weapon is actually much lower.
I think it will result in a far less EFFICIENT and far less EFFECTIVE build.
Plus the 2H Swords gain an uncalculated 15% bonus to damage from Weapons Master.
You're welcome to check my math. Yours looks good. And provides a different playstyle.
Edit: You converted % Weap damage to DPS using a weap that was 100 DPS. That calculation would be weapon dependent.
1. The 1850% damage was per mob over that time. So 5550% over 10 sec vs 3 mobs... and I didn't calculate the WotB due to it not being up 100% of the time.

1. I already included all this in my post lol.
2. Afaik, all damage increases (perhaps even including things such as "enemies take % more damage" like MoC) are additive. Doubling the damage total you posted previously is multiplicitive. Which means its wrong XD All you would to figure out the correct #'s would be to add 100% to the base damage of each attack you perform.
3. Mighty Weapons are pretty much required to make Weapon Throw cost ONE fury, which also is necessary to keep Berserker Rage active.
4. eh, if you say so
5. Yours is right except for what I pointed out in #2
6. No, you said 10 seconds so I divided all figures by 10 lol.
FYI, This level of theorycrafting will have 0% applicability to the actual game.
You may be right, and you may be wrong, in reality neither of us knows if the other is right or wrong lol. Either way, its incredibly easy when you've been doing it for years Its also somewhat enjoyable

I'm curious how Mighty Weapons will play out, I would hope in general they have higher damage than normal weapons of the same level, or I wouldn't really consider them Mighty.
On damage increasing, I read it as the skills that increase "weapon damage" are additive. Whereas, Battle Rage and WotB that increase total damage dealt over x amount of time are multiplicative. If that is not the case, then I think both skills are very weak if you can't keep WotB with Thrive on Chaos.
I'm curious how Mighty Weapons will play out, I would hope in general they have higher damage than normal weapons of the same level, or I wouldn't really consider them Mighty.
I'm more curious into how they work with Weapons Master, If they have to deal damage to proc fury or if skills like Ground Stomp will genenrate fury.
My evil barb bomb plans might ruined... noooooooooooooo
