I see a lot in the forums that you need to get this shield, or this weapon, or a piece of armour.
Unlike WoW where you know what boss drops what loot we dont have that luxury here, so instead do the Torment levels dictate which legendaries drop?
Things like Maximus and the Westmarch shield, do they drop on any level hardness post 70 or only specific Torment levels?
I hit 70 a few days again and seem to be in the void between Master and Torment 1, Master being easy but T1 just that little bit too hard.
I need better gear, at the lower end of the higher levels am I going to get the good stuff or do I just keep soldiering on with gradual upgrades until I'am finally ok enough to "melt" Torment levels and get the goodies?
Does random drops mean just that regardless the hardness level?
There should be no difficulty in getting rares and rerolling them to farm t1 easily. I started farming t1 the instant I dinged 70 with rares I found on the way and had no problems doing it. Just make sure you take advantage of the mystic to reroll stats on near perfect rares and you should be farming t1 in no time. The only difference in drops from master to t1 is class specific set items only drop in torment 1 or higher.
Thanks guys, yes I'am using a shield, the Stone Star, for whatever reason its not showing up in the armory but yes its there.
And Heavenly Strength is there as well, I assume thats what you meant?
I havent enchanted because I guess I'am still in WoW mode where you swap gear so much enchants seem to go out the door until you settle for a high end piece.
My toughness is around 4.4 million so that needs the increase I guess. I just assumed my dps was low because of the time taken to down mobs.
Is it worth changing to the Enchantress for Focused Mind and Powered Armour?
I've been running Master again with no issues but no real upgrades to be honest so back to T1 and persevere.
The first thing you should do is get a 2-Hander with 4 primary affixes and 2 secondary. Ideally a 2-handed flail with high damage, high strength and wrath regeneration. It shouldn't be hard to come by. Then reroll one of the primaries to make it even better (for instance, a socket is a must). Once you have that, put a gem in it. It looks like you have a low crit hit chance, so maybe a ruby is better at this point. Regardless, either will give you a significant boost to your damage output and make T1 much more bearable.
If you group with others, just ask them to trade any yellow two handed flails with you for something yellow in your inventory. If they listen and agree, you should have what you need within the hour. Once you find a better legendary weapon, just salvage the yellow weapon to get the gems back without paying the high unsocket cost.
First of all get a socket in your weapon that is more important than the highest possible dps, you should also get sockets in your chest and legs. This will give you 1100 more strength if you put in 220 str gems. You should also switch out the passive renewal with wrathful since that is a better healing passive. Your critical hit chance also seems pretty low so getting that on gloves, bracers, amulet and rings should also be a priority.
The thing is people say get.....you either get from a drop that you hope is better than yours or you enchant all your mats away and get nothing that you wanted. I'll keep an eye out for the items with the stats you mentioned.

I can do T1 its just a struggle when really I dont think it should be.
So the fact you can do T1 straight of the bat once hitting 70 is impressive.
Heres my stats, if you can see anything I'am doing wrong please say something. I'am using Xye's first Holy Diver build.

I just put it down to a lack of descent gear but I'll keep soldiering on until it gets better.
