Ok, so I think I have something wrong in my build... maybe it's my playstyle? I dont know. i am only clearing GR35 and stalling on 36. Maybe Im at a cap for not having Unity? I have a fairly good Ancient Arcane Barb, but when using it, I tended to run out of hatred, so I went back to the Krider. I can snag level 36 trial keys but cant pass the actual level.
you need more resource cost reduction. a lot more. get that and go back to your ancient barb. lose blackthornes and use mara pants with wh belt. then get a prides fall helmet for even more resource cost reduction. you dont need the extra toughness from bt 3 piece set. also, your amulet is not worth the passive it gives. you lose 100% crit dmg for an extra passive. make a new hellfire ammy or use a regular leg.
Ok, so suggestions on which passives I should be using? I though with a rocket type build Ballistics was nearly a requirement. I cant find a WH belt to save my dang life either. My only other ammy thats worth looking at is a Blackthorns that has 9% CC, 91% CD, 741 Dex, 144 cold resist, 7% ranged damage reduction, and a socket. Is it worth swapping out the Hellfire for that? I have debated it back and forth for ages now.
My arcane barb is 3221 dps... 2475-3051 damage, 938 dex, 10% damage (rolled), socketed (gift), 6% AS.
Custom engineering and awareness are etched in stone with 2.1.2. Ballistics is already the essence of any build utilizing skills with rockets.. The trend seems to include some sort of slow/chill effect, either with frost arrow or Sentry/Polar Station and use CtW as a 4th but I'm rather using nightstalker to decrease hatred fill up periods recently. And I assume Steady Aim would be a fifth, requiring any one of the five on a Hellfire Amulet.
Too much Vit even without Unity? Im being killed by Mortar in 2-3 shots on GR35. I think part of the issue is my play style at that point. If I am supposed to survive with half of this Vitality, then I must be playing wrong and getting too close to mobs.or something.
