In my first 10 attempts, my closest was 5 seconds too late, then the rest were up to 30 seconds or more (got discouraged mostly).
IMO, i lack firepower.
I'm using krider immolation arrow + multishot arsenal + DML + FnR
cubed calamity, cindercoat, convention
If i make a yang's recurve, can it push me through?
tbh, I didnt make yang's recurve for S4 because I'm already using one in nonseason and I wanna play Nat's this season (sadly not dropping well for me).
If I get completely discouraged after a lot more failed attempts, I might change my approach.
I'm thinking of making a Devouring ARrow build (hunter's wrath, bracer of clarity, simplicity gem, depth diggers, buriza if possible) so I'm wondering if any of you feel that might succeed better than yang's recurve upgrade over krider.
i did it with UE fire yang specc, it was really easy. still farming nat gear prob gonna use that to break 60
FACEPALM Did you even read the title of the post? GR40 conquest you CANNOT USE ANY CLASS SETS. Judging by your response, you've never attempted this conquest making your response invalid.
Here is my build. It's far from optimal. I have cindercoat cubed and equipped. So you obviously have an option to cube some armor. Probably use beckonsail or something. I honestly just threw together ancient items and fire stuff. I suppose if u had an andareal helm you cube the prides fall. Just spam Multishot. The build holds even with the clock so you will need a pylon. I finished with over 40 seconds on the clock.
I recommend doing the 6 gem conquest first. It gives you build options.

THEY HATE US, CUZ THEY AIN'T US
Extremely easy with Yangs, DML, Cindercoat, and FNR. The rest of the pieces honestly don't even matter.

Build: Evasive - Focus, Multi - Arsenal, Bat, Vault, Prep - Punish, Seethe.
Passives: Awareness, Ambush, Cull, Ballistics, Steady Aim (Hellfire)
Gems: Stricken, Trapped, Zei's (all at 50+)
Cube: Calamity, Hexing, Convention.
Follower: Enchantress with Thunderfury + Occculus Ring + Ess of Johan. (She has Unity but I'm not using it cuz the damage @40 is laughable)
i guess i'm really going to have to make a gg yang's.
thanks for the reply.
I do agree that the monster damage in GR40 is laughable, it just gets bad for me because I cant kill them fast which makes it look difficult.
