Just because I saw so many other people making builds and topics about builds, I finally caved and did one as well. Now I know all of this subject to major and minor change at blizzard's whim (ex: Haunt is now Super haunt).
Primary: Haunt because it does a sh*t ton of damage now. It's very nice to be able to spam this at multiple enemies or a single enemy on the run.
Secondary: I picked spirit barrage because I felt I needed to have some direct damage ability. And the rune will make it so that when I cast it I get pseudo-pet that blasts mobs around me.
Defensive: Seemed kinda "duh" to get an ability that increases your main stat.
Terror: The Zombie Dogs will be my initial main line of defense between me and the mobs that're after me. I don't expect them to do any real damage (except maybe with thorns later on), but instead to hold the mobs at bay while I dps them as I have in the beta.
Decay: For the Garg, just like the zombie dogs, except I think he'll be putting out some notable damage compared to the dogs.
Voodoo: Fetish Army is basically my "oh sh*t" and/or "Boss opener" button. I'm not sure how long boss fights will last, so I opted to get the rune that reduces the cool down. However if boss fights in later difficulties last 1-2mins, I'll get the run that adds 3 dagger wielding guys to the army.
Passives:
Jungle Fortitude - Wanting my pets to be able to absorb more punishment.
Zombie Handler - An extra zombie dog and health increase for my pets is pretty much an easy call to make for this build.
Fierce Loyalty - With this I believe my character will be focusing on int (clearly) and thorns and life regen gear.
Follower: I think the Templar would be the best follower for this build because of his healing and life regen abilities. I'm not sure if "Loyalty" works for my zombies as well as for myself and the Templar. That is one thing I'm unsure of. I know it says you and the Templar, but I when I got it I noticed my dogs life never really dropping. Mayhap it's because they got stronger -- I don't know for sure.
Well, that's what I'm going with when the game drops. Let me know what you think of the "Zombie Soul" build.

I'm actually wondering this myself and I'm looking to create a similar build to yours. So would anyone know if zombies are considered targetables and/or would benefit from the Fierce Loyalty passive?
Thanks,
