I personally saw the bigger numbers, but it didn't change too much - but also just spent very little time on the PTR and not too much of it with my wizard.
We need to wait for the next PTR patch. Right now it's just all about Furnace/Rimeheart/EP. And from GR 50 and beyond all sorts of toughness is useless anyways as almost everything one-shots you anyways, so healing seems to be not too useful right now in my opinion. But I have no doubt that by the time 2.1 is released, healing WILL be useful. This is one of Blizzard's major goals.
They need to not increase damage numbers, and increase the amount of damage that can't be avoided if they want to make healing at all important. I have a lot of difficulty seeing them making those kinds of necessary changes and it'll be more them just modifying how quickly damage scales up.
Let's assume a balance around T6 difficulty instead of lvl 50 greater rifts which one shot you.
I'd say a point between the pre-xpac healing and where we are now would be nice. LoH should not sustain you against 20 targets. But people shouldn't be running around waiting for their potion cooldowns either.
I'll have to disagree on the more unavoidable damage though. Unavoidable damage is kinda lame, you should be able to avoid anything. Some things could however be very very difficulty to avoid.

How are the healing stats (LoH) in 2.1 for wizards? Are they a bit viable yet?
