I thought the Firechon was a well known and much played build. However I noticed it's not even listed in the Builds section. So for all intents and purposes I present to you the Tal Rasha's Firechon:
LMB: Filler: Magic Missle - conflag. Despite being somewhat revamped with the upcoming patch I believe the spell is still viable. It won't be as amazing anymore but you're only using it half of the time anyway (see archon)
RMB: Blackhole - Event horizon. An arcane spell in a firebuild? What? MADNESS. No, seriously even when ignoring the fact that it procs Elemental Exposure and your Tal Rasha's meteors, I believe that for Event horizon beats out any of the other blackholes due to its amazing utility. It's defensive abbilities are unlimited since it can futilize some elite-packs entirely.
1: Ice Armor - Frozen storm: Only using it to proc meteors and Elemental Exposure. Depending on gear levels you might want to switch out to Energy Armor - Pinpoint Barrier or Prismatic armor. In high-level greater rifts Force Armor might even be viable again.
2 + 3: Magic Weapon - Force Weapon and Familiar - Sparkflint. These do not really need any explaining. A free 30% damage increase plus a pet blasting away at your opponents. Some players swap out the sparkflint for another familiar to proc any missing meteors or Elemental Exposure stacks. This is however something I'd advise against. You'll nearly always end up losing DPS.
4: Archon. This build implies you have the full Vyr's set bonus so your rune choice won't matter. I am however sure that people will agree that you have to pick Combustion to make the tooltip of Archon look nice and red.
Note: I tend to drop one of the passives for Dominance for solo play.
Passives:
Evocation: Archon build. Self explanatory
Blur: Again rather obvious. Taking less damage is always good.
Elemental Exposure: A Tal Rasha's build casts 3-4 elements making EE the best passive you have. (Remember it boosts your team)
Conflagration: 6% crit. Again assisting your entire party, making it better than Audacity or Glass Cannon.
Pro's:
- High Damage
- No Resource management
- High control due to Event Horizon
Con's:
- High gear requirment: To make the build work at its highest potential full Tal Rasha's and Vyr's sets are required, aswell as a +2 Mirrorball and Thunderfury to proc your lightning effects. AND sufficient CDR on your gear to make Archon worthwhile.
Note that it is possible to drop Tal Rasha's and Elemental exposure from the build should you not have to full set and/or a Thunderury. Note that even then Even Horizon is amazing and should not be dropped without careful consideration.
PS: Yes I know my Thunderfury would have been better of when I enchanted the damage instead.
