Some general advice for those of us who are eager to explore Seasons:
-Salvage all the blues/rares you come across, even if it means a trip to town
-Pick up all the gems! (Very important, as it is annoying)
-Pick up Death's Breath!
-Be Aware of Ramaladni's Gift (http://www.diablowiki.net/Ramaladni's_Gift ) means if you find a really good weapon, esp. one your intended build centers on, it MAY be best to reroll the socket instead of another affix.
-Don't use your Mystic to reroll gear you dont instead to use (Save your mats!)
-Adventure Mode is probably the best way to level. I would suggest SAVING YOUR SHARDS.
-Save gear that MAY be useful for a different element (Cindercoat, Frostburns, Azurewrath, Burning Axe) in case you have to switch. (Esp. Fire!!!)
-Don't gamble jewelry until you have everything else. Jewelry has a VERY LOW Legendary rate. Remember, you WANT sockets now.
-I believe it is best to focus upgrading one gem to 25 at a time, to acquire the 25 bonuses quicker, then switching once 25 is obtained.
-Firebirds set is probably the only way you will be higher level rift viable. KEEP THE PIECES even if they aren't great. The set bonus will make up for it.
-Gems have 100% success rate at their level GR + 3. IE: Level 15 gem requires a level 18 Rift for 100% chance, 24 gem requires 27 Rift.
This one is not correct, a lvl 25gem in lvl 32 GR had like 80% chance to upgrade.
Yes the OP is wrong on the gem leveling hopefully he will fix. To get 100%chance to upgrade to next level the greater rift level has to be 10+. So if you have a level 8 gem you need to complete a level 18 greater rift for ONE upgrade to be 100% but if you want use all 3 upgrades on the same gem just add 12 so a level 8 gem would need a clear of a level 20 grift to receive all 3 upgrades at a 100% chance.

Thanks! I will fix this. I was told something different.
The best information I have, I believe it was a blue post, saying adventure mode is unlocked from the get-go for Seasons.

3. Any suggestions for a low geared build?
You'll be switching skills rapidly, based on what you like. Probably something like RoF to start out, to Torrent (or to Disintegrate at 21.) Blizzard/Hydra might also be good. Just don't use orb. Sucks.
