With just 8 days to go, are you set up and ready to go? Have you rigged up a new set of gear? Are you planning to use a laptop or a PC?
I don't usually have time to play at home since I'm out most of the time so I prefer portability to power against other people's judgement. Basically, I didn't bother building a desktop computer and instead I have always used my MSI GT683. Though this is quite a nice laptop, this is not the latest laptop MSI has out there. The latest one they have is: Product Number: 9S7-16F311-004 ... GT60 0NC-004US
• Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM Processor
•Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit
• 15.6" Full HD Anti-reflective Display (16:9; 1920 x 1080)
•NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX670M discrete graphics (GDDR5 3GB VRAM)
• Accelerated performance with MSI TDE Technology
•Full-color programmable backlit keyboard by SteelSeries
• Killer Game Networking
• MSI Cooler Boost Technology
• Dynaudio Premium Sound Speakers with THX TruStudio PRO™
• 1.0TB Hard Drive (7200RPM; 500GB x 2 in RAID 0)
•12GB DDR3 1600MHz system memory
• DVD Super Multi
• USB 3.0 for high speed data transfer
• HDMI 1.4 (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) output
• Built-in 720p HD webcam
• Gold flashed audio jack ports with amplifier
• 802.11 b/g/ n Wireless LAN with Bluetooth
Now that Diablo III is finally here, my next project is to save up $2,000 with money I plan to earn from the RMAH and soon replace my old laptop when MSI finally releases a new laptop equipped with the newest NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX690M GPU.
With my laptop, I'm not bound to stay at home all the time whenever I'm playing Diablo III. I could always bring my laptop everywhere I go. I could play in a corner at a local library, whenever I'm at a Starbucks or some other coffee shop, at the airport or in a hotel lobby. Armed with my Logitech MX Revolution Rechargeable Cordless Laser Mouse & my Logitech G330 Gaming Headset, I could basically play anywhere to my heart's content, and not be in a hurry to get home to a desktop computer like some other people.
