1) The Monk in question is getting hit by four...no wait...FIVE white mobs. Gosh...so wild, such danger!
2) This Monk has on, count it...2 ACTIVE skills...Mantra of Healing (with the All Res rune to boot, not even Sustenance for additional Life Regen...that was genius), Mystic Ally (likely the Life Regen one), and Near Death Experience (the only actual PASSIVE) was updated so that when it's on cooldown, it raises Life Regen...thing is, one has to take FATAL damage and NDE needs to be on cooldown in order for that buff to proc, and if they've taken fatal damage once on hard enough difficulty, even with high Life Regen, it's extremely likely they can take it again. Meaning...very NOT immortal.
3) Yes, Life Regen is in Paragon Points. So what? Given how much crazy damage this Monk is taking to five lousy white mobs, chances are their Life pool isn't high. Meaning, see #2. When a character gets their Life up in the 200k+ range, 5k Life Regen isn't all that much in terms of your maximum amount of Life. If their Life pool is low enough, and NDE is on cooldown, one rough-and-tumble multi-element pack can wipe them out.
Truthfully, while it could possibly be exploited to some degree, I doubt it has potential to be game-breaking, especially not in the depths of Torment 6. Which this wasn't captured in. Looks like Torment 3, unless my youtube resolution needs to be raised.
Yup, Torment 3, with a TINY amount of weak ass mobs hitting him at a very slow pace, try that against a T6 champ pack or something, see how "Immortal" he is then
Ok , lets clarify again , this video isn't here to show skills , why is everybody thinking I am showing off my monk.
First , I just happened to have to go AFK for a bit when this happened and when I got back , I found 5 of these flayers firing at me and hitting , btw these mobs hurt like hell with my low resistance at Master , so at torment 3 these will murder me if I don't react quickly , I was using the Mantra of Healing with extra LPS not all resist and I wasn't using the Ally for Life Regen , I was using spirit because again , this wasn't planned , I just wanted to try something with some extra LPS because my monk has horrible survivability , then when I noticed that I wasn't dying , I decided to record this and I am here to show that this has potential , nothing more.
Is it game breaking ? for 60 maybe, I don't have high resist , I don't have almost any LpS on my gear , no LoH on gear , nothing out of this world , I also fought 3 champion packs with this build , Arcane still kills me because again I don't have enough resists and no matter who you are , if you are in a tight corner with 2 beams under you , you will die , the other pack was Molten with reflect and the last I can't even remember but they couldn't kill me aswell.
I don't think this is game breaking at all. It just gives you better chance to survive. I use Mantra of healing a lot and I have 20 spirit regen per second, I can keep activating it as many times as I want. But you still can be killed in many situations. Beside once you have good enough DPS, this mantra kinda becomes useless. From my experience it's not that powerful at all, just a back up option if I die too fast in a fight.
