erasing all my characters, carrying over gold only, and starting fresh. i loved the ptr experience right up until i equipped my old AH skorn, and instantly the game was less interesting. also I luvs new contentz!
Looking forward to all the new QQ threads that will appear, because we all need the entertainment from butthurt people.
All I know is that the D3 release was probably the most entertaining release ever.
You must not have played many games at launch, then. A jammed up login queue is far from the worst (or entertaining as you put it) to have happened at launch. Just curious why you created a thread asking about what people are excited about when you clearly have no intentions of buying RoS from another thread- regardless of what people say.

Think he was talking about all the QQ before and when D3 was released. He's obviously too new to know all the QQ since the launch of D2. Don't feed the trolls

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
Crusader, the hunt for gear without being able to purchase it on the AH (self-found), rifts, bounties, mystic, new abilities for classes, and new builds based from legs.

Eh, no the login issues sucked. I don't have any intention of buying RoS, but that doesn't make me a troll. I like reading about people's opinionson this genre and understanding why they play one game over another. The entertainment i was referring to was all the drama on the boards and how blizzard handled it.
You guys are calling me a troll while simultaneously trying to derail the thread because of my personal preference of playing PoE over d3.
Never said anything about PoE... read much? I'm saying that QQ existed well before D3 and everybody thought D2 was going to be a flop because it changed from D1 so much... yet D2 is considered the gem stone of the series. I was pointing out that your probably too new to the Diablo series to know that QQ is rampant every release hence why I look forward to QQ as a legitimate reason when I can't wait for RoS.
Elemental damage changed enough that specific items that increase a certain element make it worth while to have a element build. Many abilities have been changed to a certain element so if you find a + lightning % damage Legendary it will be worth while to use abilities that focus on lightning based attacks. Wizards have also been changed so that element builds can exist based on their ability revamp.
They revamped quite a few skills, and added a lot more elemental focus on some runes to the classes.
Following a specific element might be viable with some item affixes boosting that specific element damage. If you stack say, 150% extra fire damage (by having it in almost every slot), then all your Fire Skills (and there's a lot more of those now for Wizard) will benefit from it. It's a huge bonus. We just need to figure out if it's worth giving up something like All-Res or Armor in those slots.

Are we dropping EHP stats or other stats such as Crit? I thought offensive stats were balanced so it didn't really matter which one you took or was that just in the Paragon Points

Mostly only paragon points. CHD backed up by crit is still sadly king of the hill and i see nothing ATM to remove it from that position i would love to see other stats be more competitive. Will make for much better itemization.
my guess is that only a select few build will run something other then CHD and CC i want to be proven wrong.
The whole new empasise on Elemental damage and cooldown reduction is something i want to be competitive.

EU Season Achievement Ladder: Season 1 : #773, 7150/7880 | S2 : #742, 5970/8280 | S3 : #1000+, 810/980 | S4 #? 0/? |
The most important thing is the new Itemization. With the removal of the AH and a new level cap, we can forget the whole mess that D3V was, both economically and its lack of rewards.
Secondly, Adventure mode and Rifts are a good addition to the game and lasty new skill balance.
Also, summoner builds might actually be viable now. That's incredibly exciting. :D!
Battle.net Profile / Diablo Progress Profile
Getting that legendary so that i can switch up my Build again for the N:th time
More achievements to hunt to keep me going for a long while longer.
level more characters trying out different skills at different levels, just having fun
Collecting all Transmogs, patterns, ect.
