-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
couple threads were moved to the spam discussion boards....post in there dont count to ur post count.
take note Threads like "rate the avatar above u" and others similar are allowed to be revived. as people often change their avatar and need a place to have it graded
But there were a lot of threads moved into the spam forum, some of those I would definately not consider spam.
REgarding necromancy though, I also think that anything over 2 months should have a good reason for being resurrected. DO we have forum rules for this site?
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
yeh we have some rules but currently i dont think they cover thread necromancy

Ahhh I gotcha... Now I know how big of a spammer I was back in my earlier stages
I think there should be exceptions to this rule in some cases. And just to ask, why is it bad to post in an "old," thread if it had a good topic and u didnt get to post in it when it was "new?" I mean should u just make a new thread, about the same topic? because if u do that sum1 will just b like here's a link to a thread already like this one, then u go post there, and u just revived an old thread. Hope that didnt confuse u lol
we are mostly talking about people ressurecting rather pointless threads that are over 2 month old.
i hate it when an old thread is ressurected only to posted in maybe once or twice more, then it dies again. what was the point of all that? this is our biggest problem. ressurecting say a thread with info or possible info that is fine. or one of the rate my.... game threads those are fine too.

kinda like what i did out of boredom i found the oldest thread, (back form 2005) and posted in it, no reason no good info in it other than it being the first thread on this forums and umaros first post

If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.

what if your a necro a heart, and your natural instinct is to raise stuff from the dead?

Angus the peasant saw the necromancer raising the rotting remains and ran away. Since then he told the tale of how he narrowly escaped the necromancer he called "juicy bones".
I suppose it'd be too obvious to point out the irony of thread necromancy continuously taking place within the Thread Necromancy thread. But I will point out the redundancy of my previous sentence; I don't care how obvious that was.
yes we could lock them...but there quite a few...now i am up for doin it but some types of threads want new ideas and new opinios from our newer members.
not all of the threads that get ressurected are useless. granted alot of them are.
certain threads such as the "things you want/characters you want in D3" threads sometimes go unposted in for a while then are ressurected, this is acceptable thread necromancy. but most its threads such as "dude check out this turd.... Im a year older... Google gets an Upgrade" type threads, they are created, go unposted in for about month, then have 1 or 2 new posts in them then they die again.

it has come to my attention that there has been some thread ressurecting going on around her (yes im guilty of it too).
not sure if it has been said anywhere such as in a thread or in the FAQs but there needs to be guidelines regarding the ressurection of old threads.
no reviving threads that havent been posted in for more tha 2 months for example.
