Zubin heard all the what was said between Sir Elric and Garren. Suddnly he felt something wierd. He took a look aroud and said to himself : ''Dave?''.
He stared at the sky in all directions but was not able to find him. He guessed that he may be with Johnny. He decided to look for Venex then. As he turned the other side he saw Venex standing still and looking as if thinking something with great concentration. At first Zubin did not want to disturb him but then he recalled that dave was much more important. He ran over to Venex and said : ''Venex *huh* Where is Dave?''
Before Venex could even open his mouth, Dave came flying and landed on Zubin's shoulder. The hawk whispered something in his ear and he said : ''Oh Venex. You sent him. But why do you look so worried?'' he added.

"Something is very wrong with the world, my friend. When that... man... took Windspears daughter, I felt the unbalance like a sword in my gut. I saw him disapear with the girl... I tried to follow..." He trailed off, unable to communicate what he wanted to say.
"I failed her, Zubin. I saw it happen and I was too slow to act. He escaped, he disappeared... And I couldn't take it."
He noticed that Sir Elric seemed pleased again, and was smiling. "Helm and Torm have not forgotten us!" he cried, and the group's spirits seemed to rise again. The sword in his gut seemed just a little less tangible, although the guilt was still there.
"I know I'm not making sense, Zubin, but nothing makes sense to me right now. As a servant of Trang-Oul, I am bound to the earth in a way you cannot comprehend. I'm sorry, friend, but I simply cannot explain this horror I feel." He could tell this subject was not exactly cheering up his companion, and decided to switch to something else. "Hey," he said. "At least we're getting a second chance to right our wrongs. Perhaps the balance of the world will be restored. In the mean time, we've got eachother, and we've got our friends and companions. Cheer up old friend. I sense we have a long journey ahead of us, and I don't doubt that it shall have a happy ending."
Garren's son announced bandits are coming. One approaches Sir Elric, who easily thrusts his sword into the bandits chest. His dying words, "Conster! Get in there an' get the child." The one the bandit called Conster starts a chant and then disappears. Realizing they mean to take Ilth, I run for the house but just as I make it inside the teleporter apears, grabs Iltha and disappears just as quickly.
Venex comes running in at the same time and takes off up the hill behind the house, hoping to catch a glimpse of them. When I see him at the top of the hill fallen to his knees I realize we have failed to protect Iltha.
Garren has returned with good news, we have been given reprieve of our actions against the ogre-men. We now have a new task - getting his daughter back. I pray no harm comes to her.
I start wondering what treachery Firkraag has in mind for us now, for he knows we will try to rescue the girl.
I must ready myself for our journey to return Iltha to her father. I set about filling our water skins and gathering a few herbs to ground up for simple healing and energy boosts.

"Now we must forge forward, and find where these bandits have taken the girl." said Carloseus wiping blood from his monstrous sword. "For her youth she had shown great wisdom in her words towards you, Elric. Now everyone take her words to heart, mind, and soul and allow them to strengthen our bodies and clear our minds as we solve this riddle!" he said reasuringly.
"Yes, we must find Iltha, come let us search these ruins. Evil often hides in the most decrepit places." Sir Elric said. "Torm the True, Torm the Brave fill your servant with the courage to banish evil wherever it may lie!"

"Is there anything we should keep an eye out for?" asked Carloseus.
The further he went into the ruins, the more he had a growing feeling that something was completely amiss and he stared right at it without a clue as to what was wrong.
"Aaah, it is good to adventure in such a place, the blood quickens knowing evil is so near" Sir Elric said. "Helm protect us... I can feel the aura of evil, here. The wrongfully killed linger... and no doubt our foe has trapped this place well. Step carefully, I warn you."
The ruins were old, possibly centuries old if not millennia. Their luster and glow was now all but gone. It's treasures that adorned its reliefs had been pilfered.
"Keep an eye out, one never knows the form danger can take in a place like this" Sir Elric Said to the group.
As they ventured deeper into the ruins, they happened upon two battle worn warriors.
"You! You will please help? We are lost in this place, adventurers like you!" said one of the warriors.
"Yes, we have been trapped here for days upon days, and need a healer's touch most immediately! Come! Come this way!" said the other.

Suddenly Zubin heard someone screaming. As he ran forward he saw Sir Elric and Lady Cinara being attacked by two werewolves. He saw one of them lung towards Cinara. He ran towards her and pushed her aside digging his Darklaw into the werewolves chest, making him mad.
''WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'' - The werewolf gave a loud cry and then hit Zubin on the shoulder sending him flying through the air. He went and bashed into a broken wall. Suddenly the wolf charged at him with blood dripping from his chest.
Before the werewolf could get his hands on Zubin, Dave the hawk came flying through and pierced one of the wolf's eyes. The hawk kept hitting his eye and until the werewolf punched Dave aside and gave a loud scream.

"RRAAGGHHHH!!!" Sir Elric yelled as he charged the other werewolf. "Foul beast You shall suffer my wrath!"
The werewolf managed to grab Sir Elric's sword and stop it from landing it's blow.
"GRRR" Sir Elric groaned as he struggled to remove his blade from the beasts vice like grip, while at the same time trying to dodge the beast's other arm.

I get my quarterstaff ready and run for the werewolf that attacked Zubin, I sweep my staff out to its knees trying to make the creature topple. Luckily it goes down and I thrust my staff towards its chest. It quickly dodges my thrust and becomes even more enraged. Dave has helped greatly in reducing the creatures site. I strike again and just graze it as it turns to avoid my strike. These things are quick, I mutter.
It centers its one good eye on me and swipes its jagged claws towards me - I am able to block his arm and jump clear landing flat on the ground.

The cry had come from Lady Cinara. Immediatley all around him swords were drawn. Sir Elric charged one of the beasts, which grabbed his sword. The two battled for control over posession of the blade. Zubin also rushed forward, aiming his sword for the wolf attacking Cinara. Thufir ran to help Zubin and Cinara, along with Skylor. Venex readied himself to help aswell, but a sudden commotion arose from the direction of Sir Elric.
The beast had, at last, won posession of the man's sword, and tossed it aside. It raised a clawed hand, using the other muscled arm to push his prey to the ground. Venex hurried toward the Paladin, reaching out with his wand. What were the words Balgarath had spoken before? "Facio, Voco, Ferre!" cried the Necromancer, as a wall of bone erected itself between the Paladin and his attacker.
The Beast whirled to face Venex, snarling viciously. "Johnny... Kennedy... Go help Zubin," said the Necromancer, waving them away. He reached for his knife, but realized with a start that an ogre had broken it in half in an earlier battle. The wolf closed in on the helpless Necromancer who desperately tried to remember a chant.
Suddenly, a blade stuck itself through the stomach of the wolf from behind. It roared in defiance, pulling itself free of the sword. It was injured, but refused to die. Behind it stood Sir Elric, sword recovered and covered in werewolf blood.

Kennedy and Johnny ran to Zubin's aid. Cinara knocked the wolf down with her staff and attempted to thrust the weapon through it's chest. The werewolf dodged the blow, and curled up back onto it's legs, growling with rage.
Kennedy made the next blow, bashing the werewolf in the back of the head with a club-like fist. The wolf whined and leaped to a low wall, clinging to the broken stone. Then it leaped back from the wall, propelling itself with deadly accuracy onto the face of the golem, tearing and clawing. The summond creature, lacking in intelligence, toppled over, swinging blindly at his attacker. Johnny made a swing with his scythe, but missed as the two rolled about on the ground.
Oh well, thought Johnny. At least I can help Zubin. He rushed over to the man, trying to get up, and lifted him to his feet. Zubin smiled and said "Thanks Johnny! Oh right.. You can't talk. Sorry." The skeleton saluted fondly, and turned to look once more at the wolf and the golem.
Zubin then left the talk for a minute and saw the wolf Cinara was trying to kill. Suddenly a thought came into his mind and he said : ''Dave, where the hell is he?''. He took a look around to find him but then turned towards Johnny and said : ''Johnny my friend, you can't talk but can hear. Please go find Dave for me. I don't have time to help everyone out and find Dave at the same time.''. Johnny saluted and nodded his head in approval. Zubin gave a smile and then turned towards the werewolves picking up his Darklaw.
He ran towards the wolf which was going to attack cinara and dug his blade into his waist which went piercing through the other side but this time the sword was not to come out. The wolf's eyes grew redded and he bashed Zubin on his chest with all his force. He fell down crying in pain.
The wolf on the other side. Took out the Darklaw fromhis waist and walked towards Zubin to attack. Suddenly the Darklaw started to glow and the Wereolf dropped it. He went away.
Zubin thought it to be a good chance. He stood up with Cinara's help and picked up his Darklaw. As he said : ''No unholy creatures, see my wrath''. He expected the sword to glow brighter but it just stopped shining and the wolf was in full charge again.
''What the hell, how could his happen. The sword bluffed me.'' Zubin exclaimed at the same time running from the wolf. ''Oh, my head hurts me. I think i'll faint'' he added.

Johnny searched for the bird. He scoured the broken rubble and toppled walls of the ruins, looking for some trace of the creature. At last he heard something. It was the cry of a hawk. Although the creature couldn't speak, Johnny felt like he understood the call. It was not a plead for help, but a warning. It seemed to be saying... "Look out"?
The skeleton turned just in time to see a large chunk of rubble falling from above. He leapt out of the way, rolling on the ground as the stone fell at his feet. Close one! He thought, gaining his footing again. He looked where he had heard the sound moments before, and found the bird lying there, it's wing trapped under a piece of stone. The skeleton lifted the rock and examined the bird's wing. It was fine.
"You're a lucky little creature," he said, quietly. "Come on, let's get you back to your master."
Splitting his sword in two, Carloseus leapt at the other beast as Sir Elric fought his own werewolf. He swung quick and swift, the wolf dodged both swings and rushed forward. Carloseus was soon an inch close face-to-face to the beast, and to its surprise he bashed its face with his, making it rear forward. his own sight became clouded from the force, but he swung nonetheless and heard a howl of pain. Seconds later when the haze had completely gone away he found an armless opponent with a thick slash on its side.
"Foul beast, feel my sword!" he yelled as he ran forward and sliced off its other arm and kicked it forward onto its back. Now we'll know why exactly these two were here. he thought. Then he realized how much he had changed from before, he now seemed much more masterful than ever before, though bashing it in the face with his forehead was simply luck.
"Are you hurt?" he asked Zubin and Cinara, staying close to both as they were the weakest in the group.
I will be fine good sir, but Zubin here took a lot of blows. I take an herb mix out of my pouch and hand it to Zubin. "Here, take this it will help with your pain and bruising." I turn to Thufir and Skylor to see if they need any aid.
Not seeing the rest of our party, I ask Carloseus "How goes it with Sir Elric and Venex?"
