The Wolf lunged at Sir Elric, aiming a blow at the Paladin's unprotected head. The man dodged in time, leaning far back out of the way, but failed to anticipate the weight of his armour, and toppled over backwards. The creature took the oppourtunity and leapt onto the Paladin, clawing at his face and gnashing his teeth. Drool spilled from his mouth into Elric's eyes, blinding the man.
"Aaaargh!" he cried, landing a blind punch to the wolf's temple. The beast whined and rolled off, cowering for a moment by a fallen stone. Elric took the moment to stand and wipe the spit from his face. Venex ran over to him, keeping a wary eye on the wolf who cradled his head, wimpering.
"That was a fine punch, Sir Elric," he said, appreciatingly. "But I'd recommend getting back to the group. The others may be in trouble." His eye left the wolf and locked onto the Paladin's features. "Come on, we should hur-"
A sudden weight knocked itself against the Necromancer's back, knocking him over face-first into the dirt. He tasted grass in his mouth. The weight was on his back, and he felt sharp pressure along his armour. The werewolf was on top of him, clawing at his back. Elric shouted something about Torm, and the weight lifted for a second, then returned.
Shit! was all the Necromancer could think, his hand instinctually grasping for his wand which lay in the dirt just out of his reach. He groped for the wand, but could not grasp it. His fingers were fully extended, and he could not get it.
"Sir Elric!" he shouted in desperation. "Get him off me, even for a second and I can reach!"
Elric must have understood for, moments later, the weight lifted again and the Necromancer grabbed the wand, able to move. Suddenly he felt the wolf again on his back, this time trying to remove the armour. He aimed the wand back over his head and chanted.
"Virus nex expiscor!" The body on his back shook and trembled, falling off his prey. The Necromancer rolled over, suddenly free, and stood, looking down at the werewolf that convulsed at his feet. Elric had disappeared. Dammit! The Paladin's gone and deserted me! The wolf grasped at his left arm which had a green tint below the fur. The sickening colour spread through the limb and suddenly the wolf's entire arm erupted in a shower of green blood.
The wolf howled in pain, but still refused to die. It stood again, clutching at the socket where it's arm had been. Blood flowed freely from the wound, but the creature was enraged beyond pain. It lifted it's arm for a mighty swing that surely would have ended the young Necromancer's life.
But suddenly - from above - came the mighty cry of Sir Elric. He stood atop a crumbled wall, sword raised high. As he leapt, he screamed, "For Torm and Helm!" THUMP! He landed cleanly on top of the wolf, his blade piercing the back of the beast's skull and exiting between it's eyes. The wolf howled weakly and spat blood on the ground before finally gurgling it's last breath. The creature, now dead, began to shrink and it's fur began to shed off. The form of the man they had seen earlier appeared at their feet. His armor was broken in many places, and his helm was cloven in two. On his hilt, Venex noticed a small dagger and took it to replace his own. It was short, but effecient, and had an intricate design carved on the handle of a serpent.
Sir Elric stood, wiping his blade on the grass. "That's how it's done, young Necromancer," he said, smiling. "Now let's go see how the others are faring." He turned and started walking back towards the others, raising his sword again.
"I'm for that!" said the Necromancer, joining Elric as they ran together towards the sound of battle.
Zubin sat there waiting for Johnny to return. Cinara asked him about his injuries and he said : ''I'm ohkay. I'm just worried. about a friend.''
He bent forward and glanced at every space to look for Johnny. Suddenly the figure of the skeleton started to apear from a dark corner of the ruins. Johnny was walking towards Zubin. Holding Dave in his hands.
Zubin stood up and ran towards Johnny. Dave immediately flew and sat on Zubin's shoudler. Zubin gave Johnny a friendly look and then hugged him. He said : ''Thank you. Thank you my friend'' but then realized he was hugging a skeleton. ''Eh, thank you. You're a true friend. Tell me whenever you need me.'' he exclaimed and went back to find Venex.
He saw a heavy built man standing in the dark and immediately recognised him as Venex. He started walking towards him and saw kennedy standing beside him. Sir Elric was there too.
He walked towards him and said : ''Venex brother. Thanks for helping me. Or i would have died. But you know something wierd happened today. My Darklaw glowed when in the hands of the wolf and he suddenly ran away dropping it. But when i tried to do it on purpose it didn't happen.'' and he waited for an answer. Sir Elric held his chin and said : ''Hmmmm.'' As if in deep thoughts.

Orcs? Our attackers had planned the entire thing, and now they were spying on us and keeping track of where each of us are.
"Everyone! Stay together! The are tracking us somehow, no one is to seperate from the group unless they have another to go with them and have had informed Sir Elric, Balgarath, or myself." Carloseus spoke loudly. He would have to keep a close eye on Zubin and Cinara for they were the most curious of the bunch, and Zubin tended to forget important information when his mind wandered.
Sir Elric and Venex approach the group covered in blood and tell us of their experience with the other werewolf
While they tell us their tale, I quickly mix up a cleanser for Sir Elric to wash his eyes out with. I hand the potion to Sir Elric, "Here take this, pour it over your eyes, make sure to get the blood out."
"Venex, did the werewolf penetrate your armor? Turn around, let me check your back." I notice some scratches but nothing too bad. "Stand still - let me apply this salve."
"How is your head Carloseus? Will you need anything for that headache?"

"Thank you, Lady Cinara," was all Venex could think to say. He was worn out and sore from the earlier encounter with the werewolf, and he did not doubt Sir Elric was in the same condition. When Cinara had finished, he thanked her again and moved to sit on a piece of fallen stone, facing away from the group. He pulled out his new dagger and admired it's craftsmanship.
The blade was short, but deadly sharp and shone as if it were new. The hilt was sturdy, light, red steel and carved into it was a green serpent. He wondered at the symbol, trying to discern it's meaning.
Behind him, he could feel the presence of his summoned comrades, spinning around to look at them. He stood then, sheathing the dagger, and smiling wryly at his companions.
"Come on," he said at last. "Let's go join the others."
Thufir stood panting after the ordeal. He saw Venex heading back towards the group, putting something away in his pouch as he came. "What do you have there?" Thufir asked him "And didn't that man with the rather large sword say we should stick together?"
"No thank you, my lady, merely a battle headache. It will go away soon enough, look after Zubin, and if you ever see him running into battle pull him back and have him let us take the brunt before he dives in." says Carloseus, rubbing his head a bit. Under his gloved hand his head seemed to feel better faster, and soon enough it bothered him very little.
As the group continued through the maze of corridoors and rooms they came across another small group of adventurers.
"Hold! I warn you, I have killed many of your brethren to get this... oh, forgive my manner. I feared you were another grouping of orcs come to harass me." Their female leader said.
"I have been beset by those foul creatures as well." said. Balgarath. "We are in the same situation." "It would seem so. I am Samia. Are you here searching for the tomb as well? I was not aware of another expedition." said the woman. "Expedition?" asked Sir Elric. "No, we know nothing of this. We here seeking a villain named Firkraag." "Hmm... I was approached by a Lord Jierdan Firkraag. He seemed to suggest that I would need his approval if I was to make it through here. I haven't had much trouble though. There were a few orcs, but they seemed to be afraid of this area." replied Samia. "All the better for us then. What are you looking for?" Balgarath said. "I seek the tomb of King Strohm III of Tethyr. He lost his life to treachery, a sad end for a noble man. I hope to find texts in his tomb that will detail his life. But I cannot pass beyond this area. I have the key, but something prevents my entry. Perhaps the magic was attuned to stop those of a certain heritage. Probably a hold-over from at time of war, they did not want enemies defiling the tomb. You can guess what I am going to ask, can't you? " asked Samia. "You wish us to risk our neck while you wait back here. Is that the idea?" asked Sir Elric. "That is my suggestion. Samia said. "I shall compensate you, of course. I have come so far, and I should hate to leave empty-handed" "Oh all right, I'll help. But this compesation, had better be worth it, I have a most deviously vile man to find" Sir Elric replied. "Oh it will be be, you need not worry, I thank you. Here is a key which opens the first door. Inside you should find the tomb, though I doubt it will be unguarded. According to legend the tomb contains seven guardians. The last guards the burial chamber and is invisible even to the strongest magics. If the legends are true, I'm not sure how you would get by such a creature. There may be clues beyond this door to guide you towards such an end. The texts I seek should be in his burial chamber. Once you get them, return to me and I shall compensate you. Good luck... you'll likely need it." Samia replied.

"Well, if one the last of those guardians is of human shape and size, I may be of use. My trainig included blind-fighting, that is fighting when you cannot see your opponant, either in darkness, whe obscured by smoke, or even, yes, invisible. It's all about finding where your opponant's weight is, where he's moving, all cuts are wide ans sweeping to find your enemy, then you must move him, not let him move himself. However, I have forgotten most of my training, but if anyone would like to volunteer to be my beating bag..." said Thufir, with a grin.
Zubin stood silently thinking to himself : ''What the hell. Do we have less danger that we took the proposal of those people? It's all ohkay but what about the invisible guardian? I don't think he'll be just as same as the other demons we've fought, but it's a common thing which would have come in everybody's minds by now. And it's not the only one out there. There'll be several others.''
He looked up from his thoughts and heard Carloseus asking something to the young woman named Samia and whispered : ''What if these people are setting a trap for us? What if they work for somebody?'' he then thought for a moment and added ''Who may know. I will have to do what everybody does''.

Hmmm – we are questing for some texts now – I wonder what could be so special about a few scrolls that merely chronicle the life of this King Strohm, there must be more to those texts that Samia is letting on.
As Zubin and I have fallen back from the group some I nudge him to pick up our pace. I overhear Thufir saying something about blind fighting and decide to inquire about this further. I run up to Thufir and Venex, “Thufir, tell me a little more about this blind fighting you have done and is it something you can teach me?”

The monk is extremely confused but tags along at the back of the group with Zarym the mule in tow. He listens to the conversations of his traveling companions as they march onto their next battle he is most certain.

"It takes much practice, but I learned it from a master of the art, a drow elf. Normally they are evil, vile creatures, living deep underground, but this was a different one. He fought for good, and justice, and all that stuff helikes to talk about" said Thufir to Stormcat, gesturing in the direction of Sir Elric. "I met him only briefly, but in that time I saw he was a master of the martial arts, and with his friends I don't think even we heroes could defeat them, or even damage them. They are truly heroes."
"But I degress. I could teach you, but as I said it will take much work and concentration, you will need to learn to read your opponant, find out by how he attacks what he's using, how he's using it, where his weight is, where he's moving, and all that from how your weapons clash from time to time. It is simpler when your opponant is equally blind, such as in a sandstorm, but when your opponant is invisible and can see you as well, well, that becomes a bit more challenging."
The monk casually listens to the speaking of martial arts. He smiles to himself and looks to the sky in thought. Then he faces the group once more and continues on.
