"Lady Cinara,, your tale is one of much sadness, I cannot imagine what it must be like to lose one's family, I could not imagine a life with my family, were I not already on the hunt for this mage, I would gladly aid you in your quest to avenge your family" Sir Elric said. "And yes, there is a tavern near by here, though like I said earlier, it is not the most hospitable of places, it is a den for the local thugs and ruffians."

Carloseus listens in on the exchange between lady Cinara and Sir Elric before responding to Zubin.
"I am sorry Zubin, but I have enough to worry about. I will look after you from time to time, but I cannot be burdened by someone else to take care of. Find another partner." he says sadly, wishing he could be partner to this good traveler. He then turned to Sir Elric and Cinara.
"I will go with you, lady Cinara, and purchase the room next to yours. You need to but call my name and my protection is yours. Sir Elric, will we be making camp here? Or will we be meeting somewhere in the morning?"
Zubin listened to what Carl had just said and then, with a heavy sigh, left the place. He went to a lonely place with leaves scattered all over. He turned around and saw everyone else ready for a long journey.
He took a look around and saw a beetle trying to climb a tree. The beetle went up to a little height and then fell down, but then it started again and no matter what, he fell down again. This cycle went on for a long time until the thing at last reached a branch high on the tree.
He thought that if a beetle can do what he wants without any help, why can't he himself?. Suddenly a shout came: ''ZUBIN, COME!''.
Zubin's thoughts suddenly broke off and he looked at everyone in front of him to try and know who shouted but he was unable to do so. He stopped finding the person and started running towards where the people were standing.

Carloseus offers to accompany me at the tavern.
"Carloseus I would like that. Perhaps we can have our meal together in the tavern as well."

While running Zubin saw the lady healer standing. He walked up to her and said : ''Hello my lady. I guess we didn't have a proper meeting till now.''. You saved my life once. I wanted to thank you but never got the chance. I am kinda different from the group and not so experienced but i still think you'll except my friendship.

The monk was simply listening very closely to all of the conversations going on. He watched the golem being created and smiled at the young necromancers achievement.
"Congratulations on your achievement with the golem of earth" The monk smiled and looked at the sky a moment. "But can he withstand the rain?"
Again he simply smiled as he walked along leading his mule. Most people adventuring in such a manor were going to have have one of two types of stories. Stories of honor, or stories of grief. Skylor felt sorry for all the people in this group who had lost others, and prayed for the glory that might be sought by others.
He began to hum.

No sooner did the group near the tavern, was a man seen to run out the front door covered in flames, and shortly after another man was seen to be thrown out a window.
"Ya try that again in here ya filthy worm, I cut you so bloody bad ya own mother wouldna recogise ya!!" A voice cried out.
"I see these place still lives up to it's reputation." Sir Elric said as the approached the tavern. "The Drunken Rat, a dank pool of base corruption if ever there was one. Though, it is late and we have little choice but to seek shelter."
They entered with much hesitation, and rightly so, the tavern's patrons were either unconscience, pummeling each other to a bloody pulp or partaking in sins of the flesh.

"Sir Elric" The monk spoke to the paladin just before walking through the door of the tavern. "As much as I would like a bed to sleep on and a roof over my head, I can not enter this place. I'll stay out here on the streets this evening."
The monk could hear the knights thoughts before they sprang forth from his mouth.
"There is nothing to worry about sir knight." The monk smiled as he spoke. "I will be fine, and don't worry about the ruffians and the lone monk. Besides, I have to have Karym taken care of for the evening, maybe I'll stay in the stables."
The monk then bowed out politely and went to find the stables for the tavern and hoped the person running that was more even tempered than the patrons of the tavern.

A wealthy looking man approached Sir Elric as he neared the bar.
"You there, I would have a word with you. I am called Lord Jierdan Firkraag, and I bid you stand a moment and hear what I offer."
"You have until I finish my ale to say your piece" Sir Elric replied.
"Word has come to me of your actions. I see you as capable and headstrong, with the ability to handle what e'er is thrown at you. Just the type of creature that I am looking for." Lord Jierdan said. "Certainly you understand that these are dangerous times, and that extreme measures are often called for. That is why I have need of you. I am Lord of a community outside Athkatla, and while I provide for my people as best that I can, there are some things I cannot do. Battle is not my strong point. There are marauders, horrid Ogres and Trolls that must be destroyed with fire or they regenerate. I need a firm hand to push them back. I need you, Sir Elric Sigmundson. I offer a grand sum, worthy of a man of your stature. I offer 10000 gold if you can free my land of this scourge. It is a fortune, you will agree?"
"PPPFFFFFFFFTTT" Sir Elric as he spurted his ale everywhere.
"10000?" Sir Elric said wiping his mouth. "That is an astounding sum for simple monster hunting. Why me and not some other company? You could have anyone at that price."
"Ah, but you would not lump yourself together with common mercenaries, would you? No, I require someone with finesse and skill, as well as strength. You are ideal." Lord Jierdan said. "You are the choice I make, and the offer stands whether you go now or not. There is no other decision that makes sense. I have no doubt your service will be exemplary. If all goes well, we shall all receive exactly what we deserve. My lands are only a day's trek from here; the Windspear Hills await."

Zubin was happy to be in some place with food. He was too hungry to notice any fights.
He bent nearer to the bartender and then said : ''Do you have some snacks? I'm hungry. And i'll be glad if you could bring me some beer.''. The bartender gave an easy smile and a mild nod. He walked towards a small room and when he came back he was carrying a plate with some roasted fish and a medium sized mug of beer in his hands.
Zubin looked delightful seeing the food. ''Just what i like'' He said. The bartender handed him the food and pointed towards a chair and a table set up in a corner of the Tavern. Zubin took the food and sat down on the chair. He munched the food as if he was having the first and last meal of his life. He finished the food while the bartender took other orders. He stood up and walked towards the bartender and said : ''You are the best guy i've ever met. Get me two more plates and fill this mug here.''. The bartender looked rather happier and did what Zubin said. Zubin again went and sat down on the chair and started eating his food while looking at other people

Zubin was munching his food with all his might. He finished his food and spread his arms on the back of his chair. ''Braaaap'' He said. He stood up to pay the bartender and approached towards the bar counter. The bartender spread his hand on the table and said : ''Yeah, payment.''.
While trying to get his bag off Zubin realized that his bag was torn and all his coins and resources were stolen. He said : ''Ummm ... sir. I do not want to say this but all my goods got stolen and now i don't have anything to give you''.
The bartenders face suddenly changed and a evil grin appeared. He said : ''
Ehem. I've met many a hundred people like you. And i know how to deal with you guys.''. Zubin never met a situation like this and he was trembling with fear. Suddenly the bartender called some strange name and the sound of heavy footsteps started to come. Actually the sound was not so heavy but it seemed to Zubin as if a monster was coming.
All the people were looking towards Zubin and were whispering something to each other. They exchanged horror glances with each other.

''Why are you people behaving like this. My goods got stolen i say. How will i pay you? And why the hell are you beating me?'' Zubin said. Both the Thug and the Bartender looked surprised and then looked at each other exchanging grimly smiles. ''Shoulda' fix him?'' the thug said. The bartender said : ''Whatever you do but i want my money''. And the bartender resumed his work.
The Thug bent down and got hold of Zubin collar. He swung Zubin with all his force and threw him right into the wall behind the chairs.

Carloseus noticed the drunk and shot a deathgrip on the arm of the drunk's outstretched hand. The drunk reared back with the other hand and gave him a good one accross the face, soon rewarded by a gauntleted fist to the stomach and another crunching the drunk's jawbone.
"Stay close!" Carloseus spoke to Cinara, wide-eyed. Things were about to get chaotic.
