I wouldn't use the word "blueprints" considering the fantasy "time era" we are in, but yes, that's the general idea. It would have to exclude the royal chambers in the tower that rises out of the middle-back of the fortress in to the mountain. Reithwayr is paranoid about security.
Archive our posts in the current story thread? Is that what you mean? Then no. I wouldn't have to since I can just archive them here Synopses and other "extra" content, though, I will always post there. Keeps this forum clean for all the action.
I'm working on profile options for setting up multiple character bio pages, though. I could get it done in a day and add it with the current patch I'm working on (which adds remember-me functionality to login), but I'm kind of absorbed in D2 and learning Java right now.
Hurray! There's finally enough members that my member list script is shining! Notice the paging interaction
Ok, I bounced ideas with Scyberdragon and we came up with the map showing a cemetary. In the cemetary is a crypt, which has a fake tomb that leads to a staircase to the fortress. Visual aid, compliments of Scyberdragon:
I had no plans for a crypt at this point, but I can make it work. Please don't ever show me that image again, though
I'm thinking the Aboronian royal family tomb, which links to a chapel in the fortress walls for emergency escape purposes. No living dead yet, though. Saving them
Oh God, I didn't think of a religion for Aboron yet. Ah, well, we can just pretend that it hasn't been observed for centuries because of the oppression. The chapel can be disused and crumbling. The cemetery... I'm thinking overgrown and at the base of the mountains in a small grove?
Yeah, the outskirts sounds good, although farms aren't immediately around Nyord Sardi because it's an arid climate and crops don't really grow well (so most of the farming activity is in the south). Depends on what they farm, though, I guess. If they farm rocks or something, I guess it would work...
Yeah, I felt that I shouldn't know where it would be and someone else should have to know. Otherwise, I could've started leading the way, but I wanted other people to post about where it is. That way people can get some more posts in.
Yeah I know what your character went through by reading the backstory to them all, but Aritius doesn't. I could have asked you specifically, but when it came down to why I would ask you, Aritius wouldn't know why. He doesn't know that you were a war veteran, you haven't said.
Should definitely modify my character bio then :/.
I thought humans could wield magic as well, though?
Would he not have human mages to help counter or better the magic of the asrai, thus to gain an advantage over them?

Humans can use magic. The language of modern magic is Asrilli. Anyone that knows Asrilli can, in theory, use magic. I don't think I ever said otherwise, but if I did, ignore it.
Count Reithwayr hates the Asrai and everything about them. There is a reason he never had to adopt Asrilli magic to counter them and that will be made clear in the future.
I'm using very selective words.
Also, who do you think is better at Asrilli magic- native speakers or humans who learn it as a second language? I'd imagine that if the answer to that is the former, Reithwayr would have known that it would be a futile effort. So, he chose a different method of dealing with them- killing them all.
Now, how he went about killing them is something I haven't touched on. Perhaps it was something like the Salem Witch trials, and all he did was generate mass hysteria. Well, the current Count's great, great, great, great, great, great predecessor, anyway. Dunno, I haven't written about it since it isn't immediately relevant.
Sometimes the most awful tale is the one not told.
