Hope I didn't steal this from someone else.
Okay so I was thinking about a vampire class, considering it could be male or female..
But during many class discussion threads people say that a class must be "human"
I didn't know what to classify a vampire as.. but a werewolf isn't human and a druid can turn into one. But I don't think that's a legitimate argument because the druid isn't a werewolf at all times.
I haven't put much thought at all into this, was just wondering if anyone else thinks it could happen or if it's completely helpless?
TREES
blood - consisting of attacks in which you drain the opponents health or mana to gain your own. As well as slowly healing yourself with a blood regeneration.
venom - attacks where you poison others with your venom.
fighting - pure fighting, like the assassin with punches and kicks, jumps. Very fast and stealthy like the assassin.
put out your opinions, whether you think this sounds awesome or you think I am a total lunatic that deserves to die for thinking of such a horrible thing that would ruin diablo.
You maybe on to something but i wouldnt think it would be a specific class , they could put it on a TREE and let you pick Vampire and put blood on the right side like they did with the druid and his wolf shapshifting ect, Changing in to a vampire would be kool, like when u get ready to fight the camera would zoom in and show the fangs and a skill that alows you to run up a large boss enemy and tar his A** up with your fangs and while doing so thrust your swords pherhaps through his body and leap off him. Good thinkin
The name vampire is not very cool (once it makes reference to a race/kind not a CLASS).
But the overall concept is pretty cool imo. But i think it needs more features.
The way you put it is too limite din my opnion. I can't see your class doing nothing but running forward and spamming special attacks (drain, poison or pure stant dps).
I think more content like traps, ranged wepon usage, mind control, illusions and party suport could make the class cooler =)

No, not really.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
Vampire (Undead) Banished, Ghoul Lord, Night Lord, Dark Lord, Blood Lord These hellspawn were first summoned by the sorcerer Horazon to guard his Arcane Sanctuary. Possessed of the demonic fire that fuels Hell itself, they cast vicious fireballs at their victims to consume the living flesh from the bones they covet to conduct their dark experiments. Their touch is filled with the cold unlife of the grave that will slow even the healthiest of adventurers.
I do like the ideas of the fighting and blood tree though. Venom, not so much.

Whoa son, put your pants back on and get back in that closet..

whoa. that must be the Street-Fighter/Bloodrayne edition of Diablo 3...
i don't think diablo 3 is going to need those kinds of effects. those are typically used in action games that tend to take control of your character once you do the button combo required, i.e. Bloodrayne or any arena-fighting game.
i'm not wild about the idea of a vampire class. it wouldn't really fit into the Diablo mythos. there's already plenty of games that focus completely of vampires, why have them as one of many classes in a game like Diablo? anyone who's played Vampire the Masquerade knows how many complications this would have. Diablo characters need to be human. period. it's all about man's triumph over evil, so i do hope they don't make any vampire or demon or mummy or...you catch my drift.

Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
Theatre Major ie: waiter in training
I would expect a skill tree more like...Blood (life draining,m etc), Shadows (stealth abilities), and Senses (increased speed, strength, vision, etc)
But the overall concept is pretty cool imo. But i think it needs more features.
