The hat is the only thing that throws it off for me. If it wasnt made to look like metal/steel. then i would say okay. its a cloth looking thing and i could live with that. love the colors and the outfit in general though.

helm is waayyy overdone. now that i think back, every item set has had an extremely outrageous helm. not sure i agree with it...

it's really interesting. can't wait to see how it looks in the demo. for mid-tier armor its really awesome.

Looks pretty cool, besides the helmet.

What is so bad about the helmet. When you look from behind and far away I bet you it wont be that noticeable.

I'm not crazy about the shoulder thing. It throws off the balance of the character, so it isn't really practical. But the Wizard isn't supposed to be practical, so maybe that's not a bad thing. The Wizard is supposed to scream "I'M OBNOXIOUS, STUFFY, AND POWERFUL AND I DON'T CARE", so I guess it fits. The helmet looks awesome. It makes me think of a powerful demon, or of the fake Horazon, for some reason. Interesting, different. I won't mind this mixed in with some more plain and functional items.

what I liked about diablo armor was it was all about practicality. no of the armor posted so far has been exactly practical (except barb). plz blizz, stop making such flashy sets.

But the Wizard is supposed to be flashy! It fits the personality described in its bio.

Looking back at the female wizard, she also has the shoulder thing. Hopefully it's not a theme for all their gear.

I thought there was gonna be some orb type thing. maybe that shoulder thing holds it?

I think they hold the orb in their shield hand, at least that's what it looks like in the wizard vid.

why ever happen to the armor set of the monk?
were not getting to see those?
so maybe that means were not going to be able to play the chars at blizzcon too?

I'm not keen on big tall helms like this. Just think practically about its physical limitations. What if you're exploring some dungeons with lots of low ceilings? Or even if you were in a serious melee someone would grab onto it. Same reason you'd wanna keep your hair short when fighting zombies.

that's the good thing with isometric view. you never get to see how high the ceilings are

Armor looks superb, until the headpiece. It looks out of place and kinda flashy, not arrogant, but arrogant stupidity, it would be better with a simple hood/cowl to match the body.
