I agree with everyone that the monk's spirit should be pure white and not off-white. Another idea I had to make it look better was if they had white random flares that glistened through the smoke...would make it more unique. I think really all of them need some sort of small graphical chage to make them a little different.
It's really funny the amssive amount of people that disliked the monk's one. I'm sure they will change...
But when someone ask in an interview: wow why did you changed the monk's resource UI ?

Not just a balancing nightmare, but it kind of complicates a core mechanic of D2, life and mana steal. Pretty orbs, and the idea of different resources sounds great on paper, but the mania with which the design team destroys basic mechanics and introduces new byzantine ones is... err... interesting.
If there is anything I would change, I would just put some kind of light into the center of the spirit globe. The light would just pop out a few rays every now and then as the liquid swirls around. When the spirit depletes under one half, the light rays would disappear. As for the DH resource, I'd just make the red portion brighter to look more like flame and the blue portion darker to contrast a little to the WD's mana. And also the DH globe separation thingy in the middle should be more 3D, since now it completely ruins the 3D feel of the globe.

I think they should just make the spirirt bar an gas, not a liquid. Imagine an white fog, like a cloud. It has much more feel of "divine" and "spiritual" then an strange white liquid.
The barb's one should also looks a bit more fiery, if u know what i mean.
Loved the above idea about the DH one. But i think to bright tones in the hatred bar would make it look like the HP one =/ Maybe leave this color but add an faster animation... Like hot water.

Mmm, the orb already looks like its filled with smoke to me, dunno how "cloudier" they could make it.
The only thing that would make a yin and yang symbol okay for the DH orb was if the two played off each other, but as far as I can tell, they're entirely independent from one another.
Again, the hatred and discipline are fire and water respectively, I think that's neat.
I love how they split the resources for the all the classes, and being a Sorceress person I'm totally in love with a fast regen resource. Kinda worried about the shallow resource comment but ... from all accounts the first few levels will be spam heaven.
For the DH orb how about a light'ish colored liquid resting on a darkish colored liquid (like oil rests on water)? Sometimes they'd swirl into each other just at the edge but would return to normal quickly.
I'm torn between Blue and Green now.. Lets try a side-by-side.
Nope, still completely undecided. Both colors suit a wide range of the Witch Doctor's skills. He both has many Blue attacks and Green attacks, not to mention both suit the overall vibe of his character..

I would also like to see the witchdoctor's mana pool be green. It just seems like a more rainforest/withdoctor style color to me.
Call it mana but, make it green.

Unless I missed something, it is kind of shocking that this hasn't been discussed while we've seen 50+ 'ooh pretty colors' comments.
