Maverek I bet you would like a game my friends and I created. Turn gravity to 50%, run speed to 200% no weapons on the map and rockets are your only weapon. infinte ammo is on of course.
Can anybody tell me if there are unique things in the game? I'm not talking about small things like the weapons or monsters. Unless any small things like those create CRAZY gameplay. But, so far, have seen none.

K...just beat campaign in all difficulties and got to the rank of captain on xbox 360's live...i only have one complaint.....THE F#CKING JOINING ROOM SUCKS! I am litterally sitting there waiting for BIG TEAM Battle games to go on and I sit there some more...may one game I get into every 10 mins after a live game.

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
Thas you might wanna make sure you're NAT settings are on open. Cause if they're on Moderate it will take longer to find a match. Plus, big team battles usually take a little longer to match up than other type of games.
On another note, I just got my Commander Grade 2 the other day.
Well it is my little brothers settings...i dont have live anymore at my house...so when both of us are playing, I am guest...so captain is a good rank for me But no...i will let him know about that. I usually play big team or social.

Big Team and Socials are really nice when I just wanna relax and have fun. But if I play them too consecutively then I start to get a little sloppy and then my ranked games start to suffer from it.
i give it a five cause its got the worst story ever, the multiplayer seems very familiar and is easy (at least for me) to get bored of, forge is cool but what is that compared to garrys mod? I mean it really didnt revolutionize like they said it would. for me it was a let down, what can i say?
I liked the story alot, I liked the gameplay, the weapons, the settings, the new settings you can put as you find skulls, I loved it all. I also liked how I could play a campaign level, and once I beat it I can watch the video of me playing either from my perspective or from any angle or place on the map. It's an amazing game, and you can tell its worth every penny the minute you start playing. The only thing that had left to be desired was the cinematics, but even those get a high score. I loved it, loved it all.

Weapons and monsters are a big part of the gameplay though. They're not small things. As far as weapons, you can only experience what is unique about each weapon relative to the other weapons when playing in multiplayer. I don't know how original many of the weapons are really in Halo 3, but compared to each other, they are rather unique because they all offer different strategy opportunities and that's what's important. Such as the Battle Rifle, Needler, Shotgun, Spartan Laser, Sniper, Sword, these weapons compared to other video games aren't always that unique, but when comparing them to each other, they are.
But unless you're playing a lot of Halo 3 online, you may not be able to tell what is so different about them from a strategic point of view. And some weapons in the game truly are useless, and you would only pick them up if you were desperate and had no other weapons around which is rarely the cause, but it's a contingency that may occur. And depending on the map, some really good weapons can be rendered useless because of the map size or layout. And this also makes the game more interesting because some players do not understand that certain weapons are ineffective in certain maps, but they'll use them anyway. So another fun part about the weapons is knowing which one to use for the job you're trying to do.
For example, the Shotgun is extremely valuable in Guardian because it's a tight claustrophobic map and you're bound to be getting close to opponents most of the time. But in a map like The Pit where it's more open, the value of the Shotgun goes down tremendously because people with the Shotgun are easy to avoid.
Furthermore, some players have very unique strategies that most players don't subscribe to. And therefore they can make interesting use of weapons that most people would never willingly use as a first choice. So what makes the weapons interesting in Halo 3 is how players choose to use them in multiplayer. And unless you've played a decent amount of multiplayer, it may be difficult for you to understand what's so fun about it.
Um, as for monsters in Halo 3, I think the Hunters are pretty interesting cause they're actually a collective organism comprised of several intelligent worm-like beings who merge together to create this hulking killing machine. Brutes are also interesting to me cause they're technology is more similiar to human weapons than the Elite weapons. They're more tribal and more brutal in their tactics. Unfortunately however, you don't get to fight Elites in Halo 3 so the Brutes suffer a little more due to the lack of comparison.
I also wonder why so many of you comment on Halo 3, but I never see any of you online and willing to play. Warlord and Lord Mantis are the only two people that ever play 360 games with me. What gives?
I haven't gotten my wireless network adapter for my 360 yet Siaynoq, nor made my gamertag. Be assured though that it will be Carloseus. Whats yours? Is there a thread where we can post gamertags?
I played and beat Halo1 and dabbled in Halo2. I completely skipped Halo 3 after looking over what they changed. Halo is a generic shooter, and I have yet to figure out why its so popular.
Halo revolutionized the multiplayer experience as from what I know, the story, the weapons, the characters are all pretty unique, I like it alot. I wasn't a part of the bandwagon, and the first time I played Halo was 1 about a couple months after the second had hit stores. My dad convinced me to buy it, though he is no gamer or has any knowledge of games, just that it looked like a good escape from Diablo.

For halo 3, my friend and I would put gravity at 50%, Movement at fastest and only have Gravity hammers and pistols. It's always fun.
