ok, im a big fan of the Rocky series. i went with my family to watch Rock Balboa, and i was utterly shocked. i went in expecting a good movie, but what i saw was a movie that just jumped into my top ten before the end of the movie. the message was really good, and i liked the power of will, the commitment and strength of the message. that you can get beat, hurt, get hit, but no matter what you gotta keep going. i highly recommend this movie.
what??? ive watched a 48 hour rocky marathon w/o sleeping, each movie like 3 times but i havent got the chance to see this one, ill make a trip down to watch it hopefully soon

If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.
any red blooded american loves the rocky series. it depicts our country. i mean, rocky is always an underdog, everyone around him says he can't do it. but he is determined to prove them wrong, and he does it. millions of people love this movie because it personifies the american dream. the dream is that anyone, no matter what background or intellegence, can get what they dream for if they work hard enough for it. here is a quote from Rocky Balboa:
[if you're going to see it and dont want spoilers dont read on!!!!!]
(rocky's son and rocky are arguing that he should'nt fight, and rocky counters with this)
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody.
Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!"
