They should also add things like severe Thunderstorms in which you can get hit by lighting, you just started playing hardcore you go outside and you get hit by lighting and die lol. Chances of this would be low, just like in real life, the monsters can get hit too. They could also make blizzards and sandstorms and you get damage every x seconds for being out there, and like someone said before the weather could affect the way you fight monsters and players(if you can pk in diablo3). I better stop now...

lol, seems like i chose the same thing as 85 percent of the people lol
i wouldnt want it too realistic, takes some of the fun out of the game.
but i would like the accumulation of snow, seeing as how the environment will be able to be broken, you can just smash your way thru snow.
it would be cool to have gusts of wind like blowing things over and such, maybe not loot, like one of the posts i saw tho, cause then it'd be like tag.
"HEY! look at that IK armor! SHITTTT, it's blowing awaaaaaaay....."
imagine that, it would suuuck lol
(P.S.: am i allowed to say "shit" on the forums? i dont think i saw any rules against it...)
as for puddles and foot prints and mud and stuff, that would be cool, like pokemon cool lol
(that last thing was just a joke.. in case you didn't catch on...
The more immersive the gameplay, the better. I remember playing diablo 1 with an old friend of mine back in the day, you tend to forget its a game and just focus on having fun and etc. If diablo3 can improve on that with some cool effects, then by all means do so bliz!

I think this is a pretty easy choice. Having weather in a game, especially multiple types, makes it that much easier to suspend disbelief and really get into the game.

That statement was taken way out of context. Shot in the mouth anyone?
